From the welcome at reception to the last parting minute this was a wonderful experience. The hoteliers were friendly, professional and paid great attention to the details that matter to me. Set in a great location this hotels offers the magic you would expect of a hidden gem. Our room was very well appointed ( not big). Wines in the bars were served with knowledgeable care, breakfast was wonderful with a fabulous array of home made / locally made preserves, fresh fruit, great coffee and pastries along with delicious crepes. Parking is not so easy in the old town but the hoteliers helped us squeeze into their car park, which also offered EV (slow) charging. Many excellent local restaurants available for dinner, but do book early as they are often full. A great experience, would highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect location to get to everything in Saumur on foot. Wonderful little comfy, stylish and well served hotel. Very helpful and friendly welcoming team. Highly recommend this place if you find an excuse or reason to stop in Saumur. Which there are plenty! Would definitely return!

My husband and I stayed in July. The hotel is excellently located, beautifully decorated with individual touches and interesting art and sculpture. Our deluxe room was beautiful with quiet air conditioning and luxurious bathroom products. The breakfast, with its wide range of produce , was outstanding. The hotel is understated elegance with quality and attention to detail. Regis’ wonderful hosting made our stay. Thank you.

This is an exceptional hotel. Close to the centre of Saumur in a beautifully restored late medieval builfing. The staff are courteous, efficient, helpful and kind. Our room was comfortable, spacious and very well appointed, tastefully decorated and well maintained. The entire building was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was wonderful with local produce including delicious jams and artisan cheeses and a wide selection of fresh fruit. We cannot recommend it too highly. This was our second visit but it won't be our last.

This beautiful boutique hotel is a real treasure! Our room was tastefully decorated and furnished, with a comfortable large bed and en-suite. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The decor throughout the hotel is stunning.... with some really beautiful sculptures and artwork, especially for horse lovers! The staff are all lovely - very friendly and engaging, and really helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. We are just sorry we could not stay longer - but definitely plan to visit again.
