We love this unassuming hotel on the outskirts of Saumur. Great parking, rooms, pool and restaurant. We have stayed every year for the last 8 years and will no doubt stay again.

Have used this hotel for several years now, as an overnight stop on route. It as always been spotlessly clean and staff have been friendly and helpful.

This is a business hotel on the edge of town. That said the reception were very efficient and welcoming. The room was fairly standard but with everything that you needed. The air-con was very efficient. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The bar staff were also very friendly and welcoming as were the restaurant staff. We ate in the hotel and the food. Even on the set menu was very good and well prepared and presented. Wines were modestly priced if you choose wines from the Loire area. Breakfast was a buffet but copious and delicious. I would use this hotel again were I to visit Saumur in the future.

Very modern ,clean and comfortable hotel on the outskirts of town .Quiet lication so a good night's sleep is likely,secure car parking.Food is absolutely amazing ,and great wine list too.Petrol stations nearby and a cinema.Staff very helpful.Would highly recommend for the food alone

As a group of three we were touring Belgium/France on our motorcycles. After a 12 hour, gruelling day on the motorcycles we arrived at this Hotel a little later than planned; 9.00pm rather than the 7:30pm.After getting access to our rooms we went straight to the Hotel restaurant for our dinner. At 9:10 pm were were curtly told by the restaurant manager that dinner service ended at 9:00pm and flatly refused to serve us. After some negotiations we were allowed to order our dinner. There was no need to be so unpleasant. We had booked a twin bedded room and a single. The twin bedded room was very small for two people compared to the huge room occupied by one person. Very strange! The buffet breakfast was comprehensive and there was something for everyone. As it was only a stay for a single night we did not make a fuss to the management but compared to some of the other Hotels we had used in France this place was pretty mediocre and very unfriendly.

We were travelling from the village of Constant just near Bergerac to Roscoff, decided to stop overnight in Saumur and booked at the Parc Hotel. We had been to Saumur before and weren't too bothered about sightseeing - the hotel is about a mile outside town but wanted a quiet hotel with a swimming pool. It worked out extremely well. Excellent room, comfortable bed, very quiet, had a swim in the small but very nicely maintained heated outdoor pool before anexcellent dinner and good breakfast the next day. Very good stopover

This was our third attempt to stay at the Hotel du Parc - 2 Covid years travel restrictions hampered an earlier visit. The Hotel is easy to find with satnav very accurate. Our greeting at check in was excellent - very professional, very friendly and full of information. Our room on the first floor was fine with everything needed for our stay. Great shower in bathroom. Having external roller shutters was a bonus with the room perfect for a good nights sleep. Comfy bed. Rooms very quiet at night. The swimming pool looked inviting surrounded by a terrace and outdoor seating area. Dinner in the restaurant reflected the classification of the Hotel - a really excellent place to eat with delightful presentation and super staff. Marine - an apprentice - looked after us very well on our first night and was attentive and professional. Breakfast offered a range of options and the food was fresh, plentiful and enjoyable. All staff, particularly reception and restaurant staff were exceptional. This is probably the best Logis hotel that I have stayed in.
