Everthing was good except for the dogs barking next door. When I booked I missed that it was a pet friendly hotel my mistake.... Besides that the place is clean and I would recommend it to anyone that is pet friendly.

There are over 20 restaurants, a movie theater, two major malls, and shops within 5 miles of the hotel, and two restaurants are within walking distance.
We offer one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and complimentary internet access, plus a business center, indoor pool, fitness center and complimentary parking. Each morning, a complimentary full hot breakfast buffet is served. A complimentary evening social is offered Wednesdays from 5 to 7 pm, with light refreshments. We always try to stay at Homewood Suites when we travel because we like having a suite with a private bedroom. We’ve been to 10 or 15 Homewood Suites around the country and this is the worst one we have slept in. The Good: - Location. It’s easy to get here from the highway. It’s only about 15 minutes from Salem and an easy drive to Boston. There are a ton of restaurants and stores within 10 minutes’ drive. - The price was fair, considering the location. - Breakfast was typical for a chain hotel and the seating area in the lobby was spacious and clean. - The staff was friendly and helpful. The Bad: - Our room stunk of smoke when we arrived and didn’t get better the 2 nights we were there. There were no rooms for us to change to so we had to stick it out. - The air conditioning was pretty inadequate. Front desk told us there was an issue and the rooms wouldn’t cool below 70 degrees. The room was humid and stuffy. - The compressor to the air conditioner made a loud, screeching / rattling sound whenever it turned off (which thankfully was rare, since the room rarely adequately cooled off). The sound was so loud that it woke me up in the middle of the night about 3 times each night we slept there. - Other maintenance issues: the towel rack fell off the wall first time I used it; the mattress was squeaky and uncomfortable; there was a previous guest’s food wrapper on the floor when we checked in. So all in all, the hotel was fine but our room was bad. If I got a really good deal I might stay here again but I would look elsewhere first.

I would say the only thing positive about this location is the rooms. They are super clean and updated. As well as the night time manager is super accommodating. As far as the other employees they could care less. Night time manager even charged me half the deposit because I frequent here. The elevator is beat up and dated. The carpets in some hallways haven't been deep cleaned since the 1800s. Mostly all the soda and snack machines steal your money. The pool is surprisingly decent. I have only ever taken a swim once. The best thing is they allow animals for free. My little guy loves the night manager because he gives him treats constantly. This hotel has some super potential. Because you can hop on 93 and be in Boston with no traffic in 15 mins. Right next to market basket and some shopping/restaurants. If they renovated. Cleaned up and hired some more staff that care like the night shift manager, this place would be sold out every day without a doubt. Definitely room for improvement no doubt about that. But it is well worth the price. The rooms and beds are EXTREMELY nice. Just a drive away from Boston. Highly recommend solely off the rooms and beds in the room!

The location of this hostel is amazing! I stayed there for two nights in a six bed female dorm. The sheets were fresh and the hostel clean. Looking at some reviews here please keep something in mind: This is a hostel with a lot of people going in and out. Boston is an expensive city and you can’t find hotels in that location for less that $300-400 a night during busy seasons. So while this hostel might seem expensive at first, it is relatively cheap in comparison to hotels. Also consider the taxes. My bed was $69 but after tax, membership and all, I came close to a $100. Also, you’ll be sharing a room. There will be people coming in and out….what else would you expect? Earplugs and eyeshades go a long way. People come to Boston for different reasons, so they won’t be on the same schedule as you! However I thought everyone did great sticking to the quite times from 11-7. The mornings can get busy using the bathrooms, so plan accordingly. I thought it was a really cool place where you could work to many sights! I am glad I stayed there and saved myself from getting expensive hotels. Instead I used the saved money to explore the city’s sights, great coffees and delicious restaurants! Great stay!

The Hotel Salem is in the downtown, dozens of shops and dining options practically out the door (or in the hotel - check out The Roof or The Counter depending on weather/season). Incredible staff all around. Most of my days were walking in one direction, checking out local spots, then stopping back at the hotel for a quick respite before heading back out.

Very Good
孙孙Breakfast is relatively simple, but it can also be eaten well, and the category is fairly complete, which can ensure a balanced diet. Hotel facilities are also very new and the environment is quiet. Shopping around is very convenient, there are many shops and a Wal-Mart supermarket. Hotel parking is free. Although it is called an airport hotel, there is still a little distance from it.

邬邬The hotel is in a good location and convenient to downtown Boston. Unfortunately, the traffic in downtown Boston is too congested. Going to MIT in the evening and going to MIT in the morning, the same distance, time is more than double. The purpose of living here is to go to Harvard and other famous schools to worship.

GGuest UserMy first room smelled smoky the moment I entered the it, so I called the front desk. William, who had greeted and welcomed me to WoodSpring Suites and then quickly checked me in, answered the call and said he would do his best to accommodate me with another room. I really did not expect anything to happen, but within 10 minutes, he was knocking on my door with a different room key and agreed about the scent in the room. He moved me to the second floor, close by. Like the first room, it was a spacious room with great amenities, designed for an extended stay. It looked so clean and new. The kitchenette area and bathroom were sparkling and spotless. I would say this is a great place to stay. I want to compliment William for his quick actions in making my stay much more comfortable. I am asthmatic and avoid smoke at all costs. He was polite, personable and professional and I really appreciate how well he handled my request. He was gracious and so accommodating and I could not be more grateful. Thank you William. I wish all good things for you !!
