Tasteless food and Poor Service

Our stay at Courtyard by Marriot in Mahabaleshwar last month turned into a complete nightmare. On the very first night, in a triple occupancy room on the east side, my daughter woke up around 2 AM screaming in pain with her hand soaked in blood - she had been bitten by a rat while sleeping. We were horrified to find her hand bleeding from bitten wound, and we had to rush her to the nearby civil hospital immediately. She was immediately admitted at the civil hospital (one can imagine the condition of the govt hospital) for 24 hours observation. Further she has to undergo the trauma of taking the Anti Rabies Vaccine (4 shots) as per the hospital protocol. I cannot stress enough how dangerous and appalling this experience was. I strongly urge the management to take immediate and drastic actions to fix these critical health and hygiene issues before another guest suffers the same horrifying ordeal.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Mahabaleshwar and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled amidst lush greenery with breathtaking views of the valley, this property offers the perfect blend of luxury and nature. Check-in & Hospitality: The check-in was smooth and welcoming. The staff were warm, courteous, and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Special thanks to the front desk team for their personalised service! Rooms: The rooms are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with large windows offering stunning views of the hills and strawberry farms. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had all the amenities you’d expect from a premium Marriott property. Dining: We tried both the breakfast buffet and dinner at their all-day dining restaurant. The variety was impressive, with plenty of local delicacies as well as international options. Don’t miss their fresh strawberry desserts – they’re a must-try! The chefs were accommodating to special dietary needs as well. Facilities: The infinity pool overlooking the valley was a highlight. Perfect spot for a morning dip or to unwind at sunset. The spa services were also excellent – very relaxing after a day of sightseeing. There’s also a kids' play area, which makes it family-friendly. Location: The hotel is ideally located, a short drive from the main Mahabaleshwar market and key attractions like Arthur’s Seat and Mapro Garden. Yet, it’s secluded enough to offer peace and tranquillity. Overall: Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar exceeded our expectations. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, a family vacation, or a romantic getaway, this place ticks all the boxes. We left feeling rejuvenated and are already planning our next visit!

Absolutely loved the location. The room was nice with a great view of the valley. Highlight was the evening I spent at the poolside restaurant, good food to go with the great setup. Kulbansh and Tushar were on point with the service. Kudos to them 👏🏻 Thank you to the guest services team as well for the nice surprise with the decoration in the room.
