A pity I can only give 5 stars, I wish I could give more. This is a Gem of a place! Two things that particularly stand out are: the staff. It seems to be more than a job to them all. They all seemed to enjoy working there and their enthusiasm shows; The food. No need to look at the menu, everything is gorgeous. We stayed 9 days and never went anywhere else for dinner. This is all in a secluded spot with glorious views of the wooded Tuscan hills. Easy access to the sea (35 min's away) with extensive beaches, and trains to Pisa, Florence etc. Also an excellent base for visiting vineries. I could go on, you get the gist.

Spent a week here, with a friend! It’s lovely! The place, the views, the food, the rooms, but mostly the staff. We were not blessed with good weather and it’s up the mountains, and the restaurant usually closes on a Tuesday but they stayed open so we wouldn’t have to drive down the mountain. The breakfast was great and the food in the evening was fab too!

We loved everything about La Bandita. Starting from the welcome. Daniella is such a lovely warm person who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome, and Melina & Tomas are both wonderful people. The house is beautiful, set in the hillside in huge grounds, 2km from the lovely town of Sassetta. The restaurant is excellent and the wine list even better. The beach is about 20 minutes drive away, and superb wineries are all within a short distance. It’s fantastic and I can’t recommend highly enough.

Daniela and her husband Dino have a very beautiful place here. Tomaso and all the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We ate dinner every night there and it was very very good. Built in a The 1300'S, nice size bedrooms and very clean bathrooms. The service was very welcoming!! The poor was beautiful and many animals on the property to hike around and visit!! Thank you Daniella for a very nice visit

Sadly, we were only able to stay here for one night. We wish we could have stayed here for a week, as it's the perfect place to reset your cylinders and just relax. All of the best that you would hope for in a Tuscan Villa, with the bonus of a farm-to-table restaurant to feed your soul. I didn't even need to order meat or pasta; I was in the clouds after enjoying the tomato carpaccio and burrata, followed by a creamy zucchini soup. The breakfast spread the next morning was equally as divine. As with many properties in the Italian countryside, it requires some crafty driving and patience to get here, but once you do, well worth the effort!

What a treasure to find this place, dry very remote up winding roads so don’t stay unless happy driving around hair pin bends! The food and staff were amazing. Loved Merliner and Tommy in the restaurant and the food was so lovely and all home made. Pool was refreshing and played tennis too. The grounds are lovely for exploring but no-where to walk to beyond that. Visit Sessetta and you also get a discount code for the nearby spa which was fantastic. Stayed as part of secret escapes with wine tasting. Perfect and go in early October to miss annual car rally when roads close.

Spent 3 nights here this weekend and I can honestly say it is one of the most relaxing stays I have ever had. The staff are amazing, so helpful and kind. The food is of a high standard with plenty of choice. Normally we go to local restaurants but chose to eat at the hotel. The rooms are lovely and have authentic character. The proprietor was very welcoming and helpful We would highly recommend and would return
