The room we were given was up one flight of stars then through a door and up another flights of stairs. We then arrived in a very dark unappealing attic room. There were beams (which are nice) however, to get into the bed you had to navigate them. Furniture was chipped and old, bathroom tiles missing and mold around the bath area. Did not represent what was shown on the website or advertised in their reception area. Breakfast was all self service.

This is the place to stay for short trips to dozens of nearby castles, picturesque villages and leisurely trips on the beautiful Dordogne river. It is convenient to Sarlat by car, bicycle or foot (maybe 20 minutes walk) yet quiet and peaceful. The restaurant is excellent as a choice for dinner, and staff (all English speaking) could not be more helpful. If you are fortunate enough to be served by Julie at the front desk, you will find her to be perfectly delightful. You cannot go wrong with this hotel!

Julie and Francoise were so welcoming and helpful. Could not be bettered. The bedroom was satisfactory even thought the en-suite was a little quirky. Dining outside was great. We were 1/2 board with a predetermined limited menu. No problem if you arrive early as there is a very nice swimming pool and lounge beds.

After 7 hours of driving arrived in the evening to be greeted by a French military style lady, unfriendly and cold. The next morning an English lady was far kinder however. Room was overlooking the parking lot. Pool small and no space to even use as so crowded. Dinner nice but what they call luxury is a far cry from what luxury really is. Our server was clumsy, nearly had knife and fork and sauce fall on my white jumpsuit. Can happen but happened to another table next to ours too. Shame. Looks nice on photos but room definitely needs a face-lift to reflect reality.

Eleganza discreta, meraviglioso charme francese, personale assolutamente gentile e disponibile , camere confortevoli , giardino delizioso, piscina per rilassarsi . Cibo eccellente , di qualità superiore , piatti preparati in modo artistico . Ci sono stato più volte ed ogni volta ha superato ogni aspettativa . Un vero paradiso in una delle più bei territori della Francia Una delizia per il corpo e per lo spirito

Très beau cadre mais les prestations de notre chambre Salignac n'est pas a la hauteur d'un trois étoiles. Tache sur lit, poussière dessous le lit, salle de bain vieillotte, variation de la température de l'eau chaude ... Côté petit déjeuner pas de produit locaux mis a part le gâteau au noix et un yaourt. Pour le reste c'est du classique métro.

Hôtel calme en dehors de Sarlat. Nous avons séjourner dans une chambre confort ce qui était déjà très bien niveau prestation. Nous avons pu profitez d’un repas de qualité, idem pour le petit déjeuner.

Un grand parc pour nous accueillir. L'hôtel combine le charme d'anciens bâtiments superbement restaurés avec un confort moderne dans les chambres. Le personnel est très accueillant et bienveillant. La piscine est bien agencée. La literie est confortable. Quant au restaurant, un véritable régal. On reviendra sans aucun doute.
