The hotel is gorgeous, clean, with period furnishings. Bed was very comfortable. But it's the little things that made the experience truly amazing. Coffee and tea and a selection of home made snacks available 24/7. Umbrellas just in case it rains, newspapers and magazines to peruse in the parlor. The staff are wonderful, truly dedicated to making your experience special. I had mentioned that I loved the shower bombs they provided, and Rena Gallup, the Guest Relations Manager presented me a gift at breakfast. So sweet. Breakfast is delicious, lots of choices and specials all well prepared. This will be my go-to when I come back to Saratogo.

I have wanted to stay at this hotel ever since my son enrolled at Skidmore College. I had the opportunity to book a room at a reasonable rate in early November. I highly recommend this hotel. My room was quiet, comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. My stay included the breakfast package—the breakfasts here are delicious, with generous portion sizes. There is a small fitness area in the basement, as well as two rooms on the first floor where you can enjoy an after dinner drink. It was too cold to sit out on the porch in November, but I read that during the warmer months, cocktails are available to purchase and guests can sit outside on the porch. One of the most appealing aspects of this hotel is the very generous (some would say decadent) snack bar for guests. Free, plentiful sweet and savory treats to enjoy through the day. I can’t wait to return.

The Saratoga Arms Hotel is a beautiful hotel that has maintained its historic integrity. Timeless elegance while preserving its original character. The room was charming, spacious and spotless. The staff were very kind and greeted everyone with a smile. Casey was awesome. Melinda, Joel, Tim were all wonderful. The breakfast was delicious especially the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The chef should have a holiday named after him. The pancakes were light, fluffy and flavorful. Everyone at The Saratoga Arms helped to make our trip exceptional and definitely making a return trip in the fall.

Great hotel in a quiet end of town but within easy walking distance to all you want to see and experience. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Don't miss going to Congress park and the history museum. What a treat learning about the real history of Saratoga Springs. Add breakfast to your hotel stay package. Best value for a delicious 5 star meal in a lovely setting. We were spoiled by the fresh berries and cinnamon cream:-) Everything was delicious and the staff and hotel and restaurant were kind and helpful. We filled up at breakfast and only needed a light snack in the afternoon before dinner. They have a full bar with snacks a plenty! Includes fruit, cheese and crackers and homemade baked goods and so much more. The room was lovely along with a large common area to relax and enjoy some quiet time in the afternoon before heading out to dinner. What a treat. We will definitely stay here again when in town.

Very clean, friendly staff, luxurious amenities, great food (and i'm picky), and ideal location. I will not be staying anywhere else when in town! Read Hotel Nantucket by Elin Hilderbrand and then stay there and you will be blown away! Was even escorted to our room.

Perfection at its finest. Saratoga Arms is, by far, our favorite hotel around the world. The staff, the kindness, the atmosphere, spotless rooms, comfortable beds, great bathrooms, breakfast, amenities.....I could keep going! All the 5 star reviews are spot on.

An almost perfect stay from start to finish beginning with the booking process with Renee and a pre arrival questionnaire for any additional needs (bedding, towels, etc.) all the way through to check out. The room was well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and the complimentary snacks and drinks were much appreciated by our daughters after walking around town. Our elder daughter will be attending college locally next year and we will have no hesitation in returning.

I echo other reviewers who stated how perfect this inn is. Not only is it exceptionally clean and comfortable, but it is also very friendly. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the owner Kathleen Smith was very hands on. I encountered her several times during my brief stay and we actually had a lovely chat while I was at breakfast. There are extra touches such as a snack bar where one can pick up items such as house made granola bars, hummus and cheese. In addition extras in the room include flat and sparkling water and local (Vermont) chocolates. The breakfast is fresh with local ingredients and delicious. I will definitely return!
