We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Castle in August 2021, and we couldn't have been happier with this hotel and its staff. The hotel owns a section of beach just a few yards from the front door (it's across a little road, but less than a minute walk), and hotel guests get free beach chairs and umbrellas. Also just across the road is the hotel's restaurant with panoramic views of the bay and islands. I HIGHLY recommend that you order freshly caught fish out of the ice case in the entrance--the chef grilled the fish we chose to perfection. I'm still dreaming of those meals. The room was large and spotlessly clean with all of the amenities we wanted: soap, shampoo, towels, etc. Our little deck overlooked the sea, and our room had bunk beds for our teenage daughters as well as a large comfortable bed for my husband and me, plus a dining table and chairs, coat rack, mini fridge...everything! Also included in our room price was a HUGE delicious hot breakfast in the hotel lobby. Better than the accommodations, though, was the service. The owners and employees went above and beyond at every turn, even though we didn't speak a word of Albanian (other than hello, please, and thank you). On the night of my birthday, the restaurant wasn't serving dessert, but the waiter told us to wait--they'd whip something up. It turns out that the owners went out to a bakery and bought me a whole cake and gifted it to us, complete with candles. It was so generous of them! Another day, we went to the nearby national park (not to be missed, btw) but weren't sure of how to catch the bus (turns out it's easy, but we were clueless tourists), so the owner's son drove us there and back on his own time and in his own car. Hotel Castle made our stay in Ksamil truly special. I wouldn't stay anywhere else, and I give it my highest recommendation.

Bonjour, Le patron est très gentil et serviable. En l’absence de taxi, il nous a lui même amené au centre Ville. Hôtel très propre et bien tenu, le service est bon. Seul Bémol, l’hôtel est loin du centre (environ 2,5km) et les taxis sont très peu disponibles en pleine saison. Attention, l’hôtel n’a pas de piscine, mais ce n’est pas important vu la qualité des plages et les eaux turquoises de Saranda. L’hotel fait aussi restaurant et propose un restauration italienne de qualité .

We stayed 3 nights and was well impressed. We had been hesitant as all the Ksamil hotels are relatively cheap. The hotel was clean and the cleaners are evident in the communal areas. Breakfast was nice and fresh and ommlette cooked to order no exrra charge. Staff genuinely warm and helpful. We did half day at Butrint archilogical site well worth seeing and also drove to Peret to natural thermal spring a long drive through Girokaster. We had a superior side sea view room which was good size for 3 nights. Paradise beach just 5 mins away walk was nice and only 10 mins further to the main beach and view of the 3 islands.

Amazing location. Close to everything. 1 minute away from the beach too. We booked the suite which also had a jacuzzi. It was clean, fresh, big and the view was breathtaking. You can see the whole city and the sea. The staff was extremly helpful, kind and paid attention to every detail. The breakfast was so delicious and you could find a lot of variety of food and drinks. 10/10 and will always be my ”go to” whenever I come back to Saranda😃😍

We have been guests of this hotel recently and we have spent a pleasant stay. Ida, who manages the building, is very nice, always kind, smile and available with all guests. It was really a pleasure 😊 Strategic location: near the only free beach of Ksamil as well as in the center, but not in the middle of the ******. The comfortable beds and comfortable room, the only bad little bathroom, but still functional, and the soundlessness of the room; fortunately we were all very quiet guests so we had no problems of any kind. Breakfast and express coffee TOP🤩
