Hotels Near Rorerubankumashin Hokkaido Shiten in Sapporo

This may be the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in during my time in Japan; the design is modern, the buffet is wonderful (although a little pricy) and the view of Odori park was great. I especially enjoyed the bath, as it was separate from the toilet, which is rare for smaller hotel rooms in this country. The staff were very kind and understanding, as I had asked for my luggage to be held until 3 pm but I didn’t retrieve it till much later with no issue. I stayed in the standard queen room and got more than I expected. Would recommend heartily!

We stayed in nine hotels during our six week Winter visit to Japan; this hotel was the third most stylish but the second most uncomfortable. The corner double room has the right look with a little tea room next to a floor to ceiling window. We had a partial view of the Botanical Gardens which was pretty. The room was uncomfortable for the following reasons: 1. No storage. The room fit out is super minimal but if you have luggage there's nowhere to put it and no hanging space. 2. The designer was going for a zen low lighting experience but the room was so dark we couldn't see anything. There is one dim lamp next to the bed and another low light overhead light. It was so dark we had to borrow desk lamps to be able to see into our suitcases. Maybe the designer was trying to create a moody atmosphere but we found it dreary and depressing. 3. The thermostat has no fine controls - the room was either way too hot or very cold. We chose to turn the heat off and borrow extra blankets and wear extra layers. We chose the corner double room which despite being one of the larger rooms, felt too cramped for a four day stay. The onsen was stylish and cool. The outdoor onsen was set in cute snowscape. Having an onsen with snow around you felt very luxe. Unfortunately this hotel attracts a certain young, nouveau riche clientele who take selfies endlessly in this Instagram ready hotel. There were men taking photos of themselves in the onsen on two occasions; I felt like my privacy had been violated as I was in the same bath. It upset me they didn't respect me enough to abstain from taking video footage. Did they do that just because my partner and I were clearly not Japanese? We enjoyed the authentic breakfast, although I feel like having it once probably would have been enough. The location of the hotel was a bit of a dead zone, unless you love walking there are probably more central locations. If you can't speak Japanese the staff are just OK. I was overcharged and managed to get a refund even despite the language barrier. I would not stay at this hotel again but I did enjoy certain aspects of my stay.

The hotel has an excellent location, being near a shopping street and a mall. The buffet breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of choices. The train station at Susukino is conveniently accessible, just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. However, while the room size was satisfactory, the carpet was a bit old and dirty.

家族3人で1泊しました。 エキストラベッドを入れると少し部屋は狭いですが(スーツケースを広げるとスペースが無くなる)、最近改装されたのかとても綺麗でした。 大浴場があります。露天風呂もありますが景色は見れません。ですが外気に当たり気持ち良いです。大浴場もこまめに清掃されて清潔でした。 繁忙期で宿泊客が多いからか、チェックイン時間がキッチリ決まっており、「4時にチェックインのお客様〜お待たせしました〜チェックイン開始します〜」と案内されました。皆さんロビーで待機されていました。 レストランは使用していませんが、朝食の雰囲気、とても良かったです。 札幌駅からは少し遠い(徒歩20分くらいでしょうか)ですが、のんびり歩いて、大通りやすすきのなど札幌市内の散策も良いかと思います。

Very disappointed, I will request a birthday greeting for the wife name noriko san, staff never do anything, even a small papers to greet the birthday celebrants nothing service, even the small hotel they give something like birthday restaurant tickets that hotel is relief hotel Susukino, compared to the knots hotel Susukino Sapporo the more elegant looking but nothing good services, never stay anymore no more 🥲😡

Nest Hotel Sapporo Ekimae has its pros and cons, and my experience was a mixed bag. Negatives: Snowy walkway: Having to navigate a snow-covered walkway could be inconvenient, especially for travelers with luggage or mobility issues. The hotel might want to consider clearing the snow regularly for better accessibility. No bottled water: The lack of a complimentary bottle of water is a small detail, but it's an additional expense for thirsty guests, especially after a long journey. Small room for 3 adults: A standard room at Nest Hotel is quite small, and with 3 adults, it could feel cramped and uncomfortable. It's important to consider room size when booking, especially for group travel. Overall: Nest Hotel Sapporo Ekimae offers a convenient location and basic amenities at a potentially affordable price. However, the lack of bottled water, potentially small room size for 3 people, and the snowy walkway could be drawbacks for some. Consider your priorities and weigh the pros and cons before booking.

The hotel rated 5 star in trip, I will review as above standard. The hotel is a big building, grand looking, When I first entered the hotel, reception staff, received me very politely, invited me to seat down, and she arranged my turn for check-in. Check in staff also very professional, good smile, efficient. After I settled down in the room, I wanted to go gym and swimming pool, I noticed there is a fee 3,300 yen per use. This is the first disappointed unreasonable charges. I went down to the lobby, wanted to have a drink. I go into the only lounge in the lobby, the second disappointment came, the lounge staff told me the lounge only open to higher level customers, not for normally room guest like me. I am totally unsatisfied with what I paid and what I got. Other unsatisfactory issue like room size very small, bed park toward the wall, don’t have wardrobe, bathroom very small, small tv 32”, parking fee 2000 yen. Anywhere the breakfast was good. You can choose a better hotel nearby.

Highly recommend this hotel during winter as it’s connected to Sapporo Station for your daily commute and meals! Do travel via GF to hotel with luggages as from B1 there are flight of stairs you have to carry your luggage up and down. Room was spacious, enough for us to open up 3 big luggages with a room of 3 sleeping. Staff were friendly and responsive! The underground walkway can link through to Odori station too!

unable to sleep well, mattress maybe expensive but not comfortable . No mineral water in the room. I notice other guests have that. My observation is that breakfast service depends on the room price that you pay. Personally will not prefer to choose Crowne plaza after this experience . Parking is not reflected correctly in booking website it should be 2000Yen. (+) the staffs can speak good English. There is small gym at first floor

We had a great stay at the Hotel Emion! The hotel is new, modern and very clean with some nice amenities. Our room was great and it was very comfy and quiet. There were lots of extras in the rooms like a kettle and mini fridge, a TV with casting abilities, pyjamas and all kinds of hygiene products. We had a very good night's rest here. The bathroom for the room had nice bathroom products with big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The shower pressure was great and it was easy to control the temperature. A highlight of visiting Japan is always using the Japanese toilets and they had a nice new model that even had a sanitation feature. The hotel has some good amenities like the onsen and baths on the second floor. Again, very clean and some good high temperature pools to soak in as well as a sauna and cold bath. The nice bathroom products from our room were also available in the baths area. The onsen has a nice change room and the ladies have a separate spa card to access their change area. The hotel lobby was very comfy and cozy with direct access to a 7-11 by the front desk. The second floor also had quite a few vending machines and laundry machines available. The laundry machine washed and dried our clothes for 600 yen in 2 hours and had self feeding laundry detergent which was a nice touch. The location is pretty good and we found we were within a 20-30 minute walk to most of the places we visited while in Sapporo. The hotel even has access to Sapporo Train and metro station via entrance 15 and you can stay indoors the whole way if you follow the corridors and pedways all the way. It just opened but we wish the sidewalks in front could be cleared a bit better because it was pretty slippery and icy during our stay. We'd also recommend having a change machine and more laundry machines because it was very popular. I waited in the area for a machine to be available and two people showed up right when my laundry was done at 12:40 am. The laundry machines do require you to put in a code before you start and after you finish to make sure no one else unloads for you.
