Need to walk around 20 minutes from Sapporo station. Hard to find since there is no sign or poster on the entry writing hostel . Rather cafe , after going 3 times round the block I finally read in small print ten to ten .
10 minutes away from any seven eleven or family mart, 30 minutes away from Ōdōri park , I found the location to be not ideal . On their website they write they have a laundromat , which is wrong . No washing machine , I find it disappointing in Japan where every hostels or hotels have one . The lady at the desk told me to go and wash clothes is quite far . Also don’t believe the photos on their website or promotions pictures . There is no park down the building . It’s a small hostel in a small street isolated from the rest of the neighborhood.
For the hostel itself , classic , nothing to say except some of the curtains on their bed don’t close properly , the bed is very comfortable , bathroom clean and you can change towels every day . Breakfast is for free every morning at 8 and it is a coffee and a small bread . Still delicious . Staff is not always on the premises, morning and evening .
In a nutshell. Was good for a short stay but will definitely look for another one with better equipment ( laundromat ) and better location ( closer to a family mart ) next time .

With regards to this accommodation, I think people will either love it or hate it when it comes to the check-in stage.
If you have a smartphone, you can easily check in by scanning the QR code on the tablet at the entrance, but for someone like me who hates relying solely on smartphones and doesn't like to own one, having to communicate with the staff via Zoom on a separate screen was extremely troublesome and personally infuriating to me.
Why is the world gradually becoming a place where you can't do anything without a smartphone?
I don't understand this, so I wouldn't consider staying at this type of accommodation again.
However, the hotel's specifications were clean and there didn't seem to be any particular problems, so I think it would be recommended for smartphone users.
It's also conveniently located just a short walk from Sapporo Station and the price is reasonable.

I booked this place because I wanted to relax in Sapporo. The first thing I thought was that the check-in method was the most complicated I've ever been to. I checked in with a tablet, then talked to a foreign operator on Zoom to complete the check-in. I've stayed at various hotels and hostels, but it was very difficult.
Also, foreigners were making phone calls in the dormitory at night, and the staff came around at around 11pm to warn them, so it became quiet.
There were about three showers, so there were plenty of them.
I slept well at night, but I didn't know what time the paid breakfast was until, and I didn't know what to do about checking out.
The location was also very far from Susukino, about a 30-minute walk away.
However, it has all the amenities, so it's convenient in that sense.

When I check in after 4pm, there is basically no one to serve me, and I don’t even know the password at the door.
It takes 15 minutes to walk to Sapporo Station, and the location is okay.
It has a strong smell of Middle Eastern spices, which I personally don’t like.
