SappoLodge is a great place to consider for those who want a budget accommodation in Sapporo. The location is in an extremely central location near Susukino, which means you’ll find many good bars, pubs and restaurants nearby. There are also two convenient stores a block away as well. The bedroom and showers are extremely clean. The staff thoroughly clean them everyday. The front desk staff are friendly and super helpful. And most of my fellow guest were all really cool and interesting adventurers who enjoyed various sorts of winter sports. Small reminders to keep in mind: full front desk service is only available in the afternoon and evening. And the shower rooms are not available 24 hours, so no late night showers after midnight. Next time i come to Sapporo i will definitely keep SappoLodge in mind.

I was attracted to the hotel after reading the reviews, so I booked it the day before when it was cheaper. I arrived a little earlier than the check-in time, but the woman at the front desk checked me in with a smile, which was a relief. The aroma, wooden furnishings, and log cabin-style interior were soothing, creating a warm atmosphere unlike any I've ever experienced before. The room was also relaxing with a calming, wooden interior, and breakfast was delivered to my room. As someone who is used to buffet-style meals, I found the soup in a soup jar, two slices of French bread, butter, and orange juice to be very warm, and I felt a sense of satisfaction as I was able to experience something out of the ordinary. The staff's smiles made this a soothing trip.

A great hotel with lots of restaurants (that were fully booked during our stay). Easy walk to many attractions and convenient placement of cafe and Starbucks. Room was comfy but not very soundproof. The guests above us were very noticeable; lots of foot stomping and moving around from 7:00am which wasn’t ideal. Great shower, water pressure was brilliant and the bath products were good.

2nd time staying here! You’ll be greeted by helpful staffs right before you enter the building, world class service all the way, they’ll even send you to the lift! The hotel breakfast buffet has an awesome spread, tried it our previous trip, made sure to book a room with breakfast again this time 🤤

It's hygienic and clean. The location is not close to the station but right next to the shopping street, people who like to drink and eat will like it very much. 7-11 and Aeon are conveniently nearby. Most of the hotel staff do not understand English, making communication very difficult for tourists. It is recommended that there should be further strategic improvements in employee training.

Totally we stay for 5 night, it was a lovely place to stay. Stunning view from double bed room’s window. The location is very close to the subway station, it is very importance especially on a snowy day. Transportation from/to new Chitose airport was easy by liner bus but be aware about timetable. All staff are very helpful. We love to have a healthy breakfast on the 1st floor. On the last day, we left very early in the morning, we’d got a lovely sandwich box instead of breakfast at the hotel. The price is reasonable. In summary, we were so happy to celebrate our 27th anniversary here.
