Really good location in centre of town close to Mount Phan Xi Pang Funicular station. Also close to shopping for clothes, souvenirs, massages, restaurants and convenience stores. Rooms very spacious, beds comfortable, bathrooms large with large modern showers but hot water restricted to 30 litres, then a 10 min wait for next persons shower. Use smaller hand held rather than rain shower to make it last sufficiently. By no means a short shower and water hot enough. Breakfast only passable quality but then their culture doesn’t venerate breakfast in the same way western cultures do, will cook fresh omelettes or noodle bowls order. Staff friendly and helpful. One negative for quiet enjoyment, location is close to several street bars and roof top bars. But once you close shutters, windows and doors it deadens sound greatly.

Loved the stay here. On my visit, I think it was almost a full house booked by a local Vietnamese tour group. It might be, or might not be, because of that, but I was bumped up to a suite, for which I was really appreciative. The suite was super spacious, more space than I, a solo traveler, could need. The hotel was also classy and luxurious. I actually fell asleep in the bathtub and overslept. I took the night train to Sa Pa, so upon arrival it was obviously too early to check in. Hotel staff was very helpful to offer luggage storage while I went to the roof top to have my breakfast and prepare myself to visit Fansipan. Location was super central, only 5 minutes walk to Sa Pa square (where across the street you could catch the mountain tram from Sun Plaza to the cable car station for Fansipan). At the rooftop, and in my room, there were also great views available of the valley and mountain ranges. I think upgrading me to a suite was a great marketing move, because I was grateful and decided to have dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, as well as use their spa facility for a full body massage. Prices were pretty fair for in-house facilities, which I appreciated. Breakfast was a buffet — it wasn’t too memorable in my opinion, but the variety was huge, and the Vietnamese tourists seemed to love it. Staff were also friendly, helpful and great. All in all, I recommend this, and I would love to stay here again.

I have a no complaint about the view, facilities and service at this hotel. The staffs are very kind and friendly. I booked a panorama room and it take 950.000 vnd for 1 night. The minuses are the signal of wifi too weak and the breakfast is not diverse, may be because the affect of corona disease. But any way i still rate 5* and will be back

The hotel was fantastic, with excellent service from the friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. Although the spa wasn't open during New Year's, there are other places nearby for massages. However, note that they don't offer currency exchange services but refer you to an external store which charges 10%. Instead of this convenience fee, it's better to walk a little further out and use an ATM. Overall experience at this hotel was nothing short of amazing!

Hotel is rather far on foot from bus station and is located over 1km away from Sun Plaza. However, that location is nice as there are lots of lights and restaurants not too far from. Lobby staff could speak English fine, but the maids were not able to communicate at all. Room was inexpensive, large (for the price), clean, though a little dark as ours was under ground level. Items, especially water, in the mini fridge were quite tricky to identify the free ones from the rest as there was no price list nor any label. Overall, highly recommended just for the price alone.

Very good hotel, I stayed with 2 teenagers and they had their own room and I had my own. It was Family suite. Amazing breakfast! Very clean and service was pleasant. Location near by the city. Everywhere walking distance. Only issue we faced there were a construction going on next to the hotel and the noise started at 8am. So just check in the construction update and you may have more pleasant mornings

The location in Sapa wasn't that bad either.
All of the staff were friendly and responsive to questions about nearby travel destinations or travel itineraries, and it was nice to always receive feedback on any inconveniences while using the room.
The room was clean and tidy, and they cleaned it well on the second day of our stay.
For breakfast, banh mi ingredients, fried rice, sausage, bacon, bread, and egg dishes were ordered separately and cooked on the spot. There was juice and a few fruits, so it was a reasonable breakfast that was neither too much nor too little.
This is a place that makes you look forward to your next trip to Sapa.

Found the Hmong Sister house after briefly researching local guides to take two of us on a hike around the Sa Pa area. I had few expectations for the hike, beyond hoping to see some stunning scenery - which we did! - the hills and rice paddies in the Lao Cai area are a sight to behold. We sent the sisters a WhatsApp the evening before, and they swiftly replied and arranged to pick us up at our preferred time the next day. Our fantastic guide, Bam, picked us up from our hotel and we walked through Sa Pa town to the start of our hike. It was a bit of a challenge at first - it had rained the night before, so descending a muddy forested hill was slippery to say the least - but the sun soon came out and we saw some of the best views Vietnam has to offer. Bam answered all of our questions about the local area and was very patient when we were taking the hike quite slowly! The ”bamboo trek” (which was the hiking option we chose) took about 4 hours. It is very accessible for anyone who is capable of long walks, but do wear some proper boots! Our hike ended with the best pho we had eaten during our entire time in Vietnam at a Hmong-owned restaurant! Bam then kindly ordered a taxi to take us back to our hotel. Overall, a fantastic experience and a memory I will treasure for a very long time! Thank you again to the sisters, and particularly Bam!

DdexxieOur recent stay at Aliana Sapa Hotel was nothing short from amazing.
We arrived early at 6am from Hanoi but the hotel wasn't open. We waited till around 7am and the hotel front desk staff - Chau Thi Hong Lien got us checked in early. I think also because the hotel wasn't buzzing with guests. This little touch made our day as we have been travelling 12 hours straight.
Lien not only welcomed us warmly but also gave us fantastic recommendations for our Fansipan trek and finding a local private guide to explore the Hmong village. The price we paid for the private tour was really reasonable too.
Breakfast was good and the restaurant staff were all so polite and nice. Served ala carte I'll recommend to try the porridge, pumpkin soup, carrot soup, and scrambled eggs.
Hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Sapa town, but that's a good thing. It's still within walking distance, and being close to the Mgallery Metropole Hotel and Sun Plaza is a bonus for exploring the area.Our rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff. And that balcony view was downright breathtaking.
To sum it up, Aliana Sapa Hotel - with its excellent service, friendly staff, incredible restaurant, and comfy rooms, it's a hidden gem in Sapa.

GGuest UserWonderful location at the entrance of Fansipan cable car! It is away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd in Sapa city, and is located in the quiet and peaceful mountains area. Buggy services to drive you to the entrance of fansipan, also has scheduled shuttle buses that brings you to city centre. The receptionist can also call for a cab for you that is generally well priced. The cool is small and cute, but was too cold for me to swim outdoors. There’s a small indoor heated pool which is pretty but crowded at times. The staff team is helpful and kind generally. Hotel buffet breakfast is adequate, liked that it came as a package with the hotel. New hotel too so that means clean place!
The only con is that their beauty services are average for a hotel, so might not go back to their services. Otherwise I would love to be back here!

GGuest UserWe chose this hotel because of the reviews of how friendly the manager was, and we were not disappointed. We arrived at his door at 6am with no booking, and he took care of us and stored our bags. Me and my husband came down with the stomach flu, and he pointed us to nearby pharmacies, helped us with English-fluent advice on medicines, offered to make us soup every time we saw him, and bought us some instant soup packets that we could make in our room and turned out to be the absolute perfect thing to help, becoming the only thing we ate for a full day. When I came for towels late in the night to cool my husband’s fever, he offered a tip with oil and warm rags that worked to cure the fever. Once we recovered, we were on our way out the door on a cold drizzly day and my husband didn’t have a coat, and this man literally gave him the coat off his back. I can tell he went into the hotel business because he cares about people, and we could feel it at our stay. I have no idea what we would have done on our trip to Sapa without him. Hotel Snow is a hidden gem, clean, and beautifully decorated and designed, and is worth 5 stars for the business owner alone.

GGuest UserMy wife and I stayed here. We enjoyed the following: Location: close enough to the town center but just far enough to be away from the noise. We typically walk about 7 minutes to get there or go in our rental scooter. Sapa is small neighborhood that you can get to the Cat Cat Village or any other village from any location you stay in town. We care about peace and quite at night so it was great. Room: was very clean and had a great view of the center down below. Service: staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was close to downtown Sapa, so it was easy to walk around, and it was worth walking to Cat Cat Village. When you come back.. Ride a motorcycle hehe
The accommodation was large and clean, but there was no hot water in the accommodation. The person who repaired it came and fixed it, but lukewarm water instead of warm water came out, making it uncomfortable to wash.
It was annoying to go out in the evening, so I used the restaurant inside the resort, but it was fine, and the breakfast was delicious.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean, quiet space, open and beautiful view, the owner is very enthusiastic and thoughtful, the chef cooks very well, suitable for our family's taste, the only downside is that it is far from the market center. The commune is nearly 2km, so it's a bit inconvenient (this is not significant if you like to walk). I will come back next time.

BBubiandelianpangA family B&B in the tourist area of Sapa Town, Lao Cai City. You do not need to show your passport to check in. The boss is a middle-aged man who can communicate easily in a little Chinese and English. He is also down-to-earth and enthusiastic and will not rip off customers. Check in directly after booking on Ctrip. I chose the twin room alone. The room was quite spacious and tidy. It is a beautiful walk through Sabah Lake 1 km away from Sabah Plaza. In winter, the temperature is a little cold in the morning and evening, but as a northerner, I can accept it. The room price is more than 120, which is very affordable!
