This guest house is very special. It’s tucked away in a quiet spot and we found a parking space easily. The garden is peaceful - we didn’t use the pool. We were greeted warmly and given a tour of the beautiful house. Our room, Edmund Rothschild, was huge with a lovely big bed, great shower and lots of space. The aircon was good and the breakfast absolutely delicious with freshly made granola and yogurt as well as the standard buffet and good coffee and juice. We walked into town in the evening, it’s quite a long walk but very pretty and we got an Uber back to take us up the steep hill for 8 euros. We booked a very good tuk tuk tour in the morning and the staff kindly let us go back to the guest house to use the facilities. Loved it.

We had a terrible and the worst experience ever at this accommodation. The room was filled with mold—on the walls, around the windows, and even the ceiling. The humidity level was a shocking 85%, as shown on the thermostat in the room. It was damp, musty, and absolutely unhealthy to stay in. This is completely unacceptable. Stay away please now you still can. The worst part? The owners were fully aware of the situation. They admitted that the mold had been there for a long time and yet continue to rent out the room without addressing the problem. They initially promised us a refund, but when it came down to it, they refused to follow through. This was not just unpleasant, it felt unsafe and dishonest. We would strongly advise others to avoid this place!

There was mold everywhere: in the floor, in the walls, on the windows. The wall was just wet. Everything smelled musty, and all of the windows were open. When we asked for another room, they simply told us that all of their rooms have it. Like it's a normal thing. We decided to go another hotel and they told us that they would refund us... But they lied. They kept us waiting for two days (after the cancellation via booking passed) and then told us they would refund us, even if we did not stay here. I have taken two pictures of it, should have taken more.

The hotel is very homely with only 8 bedrooms. The staff were welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. A special big hello and thank you for Joanna and Letitia, who were superb. I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending.

Rosegarden is charming. The hotel is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The young staff, Francesca and Marco work tirelessly to keep it so. The bed was very comfortable, the linen good quality and the shower hot. The position is perfect for visiting Sintra’s sights.

This is a very well-managed and beautifully decorated bed and breakfast hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast consisted of freshly made fruit salad and a lovely selection of breads and pastries. The hams, cheeses and jams were all very nice. Fresh coffee was on tap.

A really lovely little hideway guesthouse. With beautiful rooms and modern touches. Excellent amd helpful services. We could not fault our relaxing time Sinta aided by staying here
