This hotel was a bit shabby, but it’s located directly on nice beach, so I enjoyed my stay there very much. I was there for three days and every day I was going out and spent a few hours on the large beach. The hotel amenities look old but it doesn’t prevent you from enjoying it. It is important to have car though.

We Love to Stay in the Hotel. Fish evening, Rodizio, Buffet Cabo Verde , the music that is offered is very good. Overall, its a Potential 4 star hotels to improve , , however we were very happy with our stay at the Foya Branca and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We believe it is the extraordinary service of the team that really make this a great place to stay. Also to the General Manager and Team very nice and efficient. We will return to this hotel.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. I have stayed here several times as it is guaranteed to be far from the typical package tour hotel experience I that I dislike. The rooms need some some maintenance but that did not detract from our stay. The grounds are very nice and so are the pools. The staff were exceptional and could not have gone out of their way further if we needed anything , in particular Dercio and his colleague, Antao and Hernany. The breakfast is good and so were evening meals when we ate. The hotel was not too full with amongst others some surfers from Europe staying that have surfed all over the world but come back to Foya Branca often as they prefer surfing here than the Caribbean, Europe and all other surf locations they have been too. I hope to visit the hotel again.

We stayed for just one night and enjoyed our stay. We’ve wanted to do the hike to the lighthouse therefore we opted for this hotel and we did not get disappointed. The hotel seemed a bit-old-fashioned but this was no problem at all for us. The rooms were huge and the staff was really nice. When they got notice of the fact that the person responsible for the breakfast was missing, some others of the staff helped out and served breakfast within a short period of time. Another benefit was the transfer to the airport.

Flag Hotel Foya Branca is a good option when need to be next to the airport, as it is at about 1 or 2 km away, and the hotel offer a free shuttle to the guests. The room were OK, but not that great. The best part was the two swimming pools. as I was not very confident to swim on my own in the sea (big waves). The breakfast was good. A buffet with quite a few option to select.

Chose to stay to this hotel at the end of 2 weeks travelling around Sao Vincente and Santo Antao, despite the bad review. Shoes were stolen in front of our room, staff were very disinterested , more worryingly the manager as it took me 3 days to nail her down as she didn’t not think that clients being robbed was any of the hotel problem. Could have been outsider but could also be hotel staff. Leaves a very bitter taste. Door handle broken ( which meant no access to the balcony ) no one came to have a look ( let alone try to fix it ) despite asking twice about it. Gym advertised but not opened – despite asking about it after previous negative TripAdvisor comment ( equipment is supposedly about to be fixed, it is not ) No diving center despite the hotel advertising it. ( Dive tribe operates from Mindelo city center ) A ghost , insecure hotel ( despite being the only place with a security team we stayed in, the irony )

Broken shower. Empty liquid soap bottles. Leaking air conditioning. Dirty pillows that we had to have changed. Food not very varied and in limited quantities given the number of guests. Random breakfast service. You have to ask...... Directions to find the rooms almost non-existent and no one to help you. We do not feel good in this very dilapidated hotel...... offered 4 stars by tour operators !!!!!!

Resort spacieux et de bonne qualité en général compte tenu de nos standards européens pour un pays ou les conditions de vie sont difficiles. Personnel à l'écoute et prestations dans l'ensemble correctes. Infrastructures propres mais pourrait être mieux entretenues. (un peu trop vieillot) Restauration correcte mais pas incroyable. Il y a au moins du choix car cela est servi sous format buffet et n'est pas servi a la continentale seulement - on peut donc gouter au local. Plusieurs piscines, un accès direct a la plage avec un très bon restaurant a proximité sur la plage. Des navettes gratuites sont disponibles pour rejoindre la capitale Mindelo plusieurs fois par jour et le resort est situé a même pas 10min de l'aéroport. - un peu bruyant & manque de modernisme + on s'y sent bien
