My family and I really enjoyed our stay in a one bedroom apartment. It was clean, comfortable, fully-equipped and had ample room for a family of 4. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely stunning - full of beautiful flowers and plants. My teenage boys really enjoyed using the hot tub, pool, sauna and gym. The hotel is centrally located on the island making it very easy to access most of the major sites and only a 10 minute drive to downtown Ponta Delgada. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and accommodating during our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Senhora for a week over my 30th birthday and absolutely loved it! The hotel is stunning, from the bar areas to the bedrooms to the spa. Most evenings we were given a small sweet treat or a candle with a note as a goodnight gesture, which was a beautiful touch! The reception staff were able to answer all of my questions and give advice on beach front restaurants, best beaches and places to park. The breakfast is very good and I love the option of ordering your eggs fresh instead of buffet style. We didn’t eat at Magma Restaurant however, ate at the rooftop restaurant, which was amazing and great service. The location is perfect as most people on the island have hired a car for transport. It’s about 8 minutes from Ponta Delgada and close to all the main roads to get around the island. You can also see the sea from the rooftop bar.

The location is good, quite central and the service was good. The breakfast could be improved in terms of the amount of elements to put in the bread, which they gave us was insufficient for two people and the breakfast cereals should have been something like oatmeal and granola instead of achapic and estrelitas. Overall I think it has good quality for the price.

the hotel had no ac in restaurant and hallways and common areas for over a week and mention at check in. staff were very aloof . at breakfast service was terrible to ask for coffee you have to get up and find a bunch of waiters just chatting and not doing any work. no managers ever present to speak with or resolve issues . room service horrible, asked once in a 3 day stay to clean room and was offered a towel !!! only positive is location to town , and a nice roof top bar area ,it is definitely not 5 star
