The structure of the inn, common places for everyone, was very dirty, dusty and smelled of animal feces. Inside the room there are defective doors and cleaning is only carried out above, under the dusty bed.

A pousada está muito bem localizada. Contudo, o Uber não chega a porta, pois é proibido a passagem de carros, assim como em diversas ruas históricas do antigo centro. Os quartos são grandes e com um decoração bem interessante. O pessoal da recepção é solista, principalmente a senhora Marinete, muita atenciosa. O serviços deixam a desejar na limpeza dos quartos e no serviço do café da manhã, poucas opções. Pelo custo benefício recomendo a hospedagem.

We arrived as a group of families. They moved us to a different nearby location, the Americo hotel. The place is nice The organization awful They gave us the rooms but afterwards, without noticing and while we were out for dinner, they collected out things and moved to other rooms.. The breakfast was a tragedy. The table was full of dirty and there was no food left. At 8am so not that late. I don't recommend this place or at least be prepared. The worst staff in maranhao

I am a bit generous with the 3 stars. We actually booked 3 rooms and upon check in they only had 2 rooms booked. So far no problem that cannot be solved but the night clerk was amazingly slow. The rooms i find nice and colonial but towels were missing. If you arrive late the check in should just be giving you the key, and sort out the other stuff in the morning. The breakfast is also not great and that is weird in Brazil........A nice place but it needs some TLC and a proper management.

Colonial building which could be very nice, at the time of our visit undergoing renovations. Very dirty everything,common areas ,bedrooms and bathrooms. Dirty towel, stained sheets. By European standards unacceptable and the owner is italian !!. Our first room t was full of dust and not cleaned for days. We kept coughing. The sheets were dirty and the pillowcases had holes in them. The bathroom was dirty and the towels with stains. We asked to change rooms but it was only available for the second night. We also found it not very clean with a dark anteroom and no air conditioning. It's a pity because the building is in an excellent position in the historic center but it is really unpresentable. Breakfast poor too. On line fotos don't explaine the real situation. If you want to lose money go in !!.

Una bellissima pousada storica in stile coloniale, purtroppo sporca e cadente. Siamo stati una sola notte, la camera era spoglia ma molto ampia per 4 persone. Purtroppo c'erano tarli sul pavimento che facevano mucchietto di segatura (chiesto di pulire, ci hanno detto "certo, subito!" ma non lo hanno fatto). Le tre porte finestre avevano tutte vetri rotti o mancanti, i materassi erano sporchi (quello di mio figlio era orrendamente sporco dj sangue...) Abbiamo dovuto chiedere asciugamani e sapone, perché nella camera da 4 c'è n'era solo un set per una persona. Il "frigo-bar" era costituito da un frigo con un piedino mancante e lercio dentro. La colazione sistemata in modo assolutamente non curato e in MERAVIGLIOSO cortile interno in cui si mangiava, lasciato in uno stato di incuria e sporcizia... davvero un peccato Abbiamo fatto presente il tutto al check out, ricevuto scuse. Potrebbe essere bellissimo con pochi accorgimenti e un po'di cura

Terceira vez em 10 dias que o meu quarto não esta arrumado as 18h da noite. Serviço de limpeza péssimo. Tem que argumentar e quase pedir favor com umas empregadas da limpeza para fazer tal serviço quando deveriam ser despedidas faz tempo por tais faltas profissionais. Nunca experimentei a 66 anos de idade serviços de quarto tão fracos por culpa de falta de supervisão. Isso se chama falta profissional e merece receber um aviso cada vez. Lamento dizer mas o cliente não deveria pedir favor para o pessoal do hotel fazer o seu trabalho e menos blablabla. Sobretudo quando vc e um cliente daquele estabelecimento faz 15 anos e passa semanas cada ano hospedado lá. Muito triste constatar tal falhas repetidas e tal arrogância de uma parte do pessoal realmente incompetente quando o dono viaja.

A pousada fica no coração do centro histórico, num casarão tombado bem conservado. Ficamos num quarto amplo, com decoração caprichada, amplo banheiro, cama ampla, lençóis bem higienizados e barquinhos. As áreas comuns são bem decoradas com elementos histórico O pessoal da recepção são simpáticos, e nos deram boas dicas de restaurantes e passeios. Encontramos o dono, muito simpático. Fizemos tudo a pé, saímos a noite, o entorno é seguro, apesar de ser no coração do centro histórico. Recomendo, voltaria com certeza. o café da manhã é simples, servido num ambiente acolhedor, tem o básico necessário para uma boa refeição. O preço é justo para o que oferece.
