If you've never suffered before, try this hotel~~ My friend and I were dragging two suitcases with two large bags on top, walking from the main entrance. It was hot and tiring, and the stone path was quite steep. Were the three or four bellboys at the door just standing around like idols? The entrance was empty at the time, and they didn't even react when they saw us from afar. Not a single person came to help us the entire time we walked into the lobby 🙄 They completely ignored us. Do we not look like guests? What kind of service attitude is that… The hotel smells, maybe from the sink? The public areas also felt much worse than the previous place I stayed. It was a terrible experience overall, but thankfully, the lady at the front desk had a great attitude and even upgraded our room. Thank you, miss. ~~Once again, I express my utmost disdain for those people at the entrance~~

Haitang Bay was the only place I hadn't visited yet, and since I was traveling with a child, I found that the InterContinental offered the most extensive range of kids' activities and entertainment, so I booked it without hesitation. The hotel room was very spacious, and they provided slippers, bathrobes, and toiletries for children. The breakfast even had a dedicated kids' buffet, which made my child feel involved in the morning meal. On the day we checked in, we were assigned a butler, Bobby, who sent daily greetings and checked in on us, providing reminders whether it was raining or sunny. The kids' club, mini-train, mini-cars, and bicycles were all available for unlimited use, and my child absolutely loved it. We booked a travel photoshoot on the third day, which was also very thoughtful. Even though it was hot and my child wasn't very cooperative, the photographer still managed to capture some pretty good shots despite the challenging conditions. The complimentary buffet also included a mermaid show. Every day was wonderfully enjoyable, and my child said they want to come back again next time!

For a trip to Sanya with a two-year-old, the InterContinental is an excellent choice. Our experience was top-notch. While the hotel's public areas aren't particularly striking, the overall environment is quite good, offering expansive views of the beachfront. It's also within walking distance to the duty-free shop, making shopping very convenient. We booked a one-bedroom kids' suite for four adults and one child. Although the floor wasn't high enough for a clear sea view, it was far from the construction site, and the soundproofing was excellent. The suite had two bathrooms, which was incredibly necessary for a family trip. We had a very comfortable stay, and our baby slept wonderfully. The kids' suite comes with executive lounge access, which is perfect for those traveling with elderly parents and children, as you don't have to worry about meals. The hotel's photography service also produced some stunning shots, and I managed to resist buying extra prints. During our stay, we especially want to thank Lucas. His service was attentive and efficient. He proactively contacted us before check-in, responded promptly throughout our stay, and thoughtfully arranged a room surprise, which was very heartwarming. The family-friendly activities are abundant, with a kids' club and a mini-train that kept our child thoroughly entertained. The service, environment, and facilities are all impeccable, and all the staff members were wonderful.

Traveling with family, we chose the InterContinental Haitang Bay, and both my parents and kids were very happy with it. The one-bedroom kids' suite was perfect for all of us. Kaylee (Lili) was fantastic; she even helped me secure a room with two bathrooms. The kids' club had lots of activities every day. My dad initially wanted to go sightseeing, but we ended up spending all four days at the hotel, except for a trip to the duty-free shop. We'll definitely choose InterContinental again next time!

The room offered a stunning ocean view, with a 5-meter floor-to-ceiling window directly facing the glassy sea, and a huge balcony with a bathtub that was incredibly therapeutic for bathing while enjoying the view. High-end amenities like the Dyson hairdryer and BYREDO toiletries further highlighted the attention to quality. Winne's service was impeccable: she proactively helped with reservations, responded promptly, and fulfilled every request. She even thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits, adding a touch of ceremony, making the entire stay effortless and heartwarming. The hotel's private beach boasted fine sand and was secluded and quiet, and the lawn was perfect for taking amazing photos. The duty-free shop was just a few minutes' walk away, making it convenient for both shopping and relaxation. Dining at the underwater restaurant was incredibly dreamy, with a mermaid show and a fantastic seafood buffet. The environment, service, and dining were all excellent. With housekeeper Winne's professional and warm service, this is undoubtedly the best choice for a vacation in Haitang Bay! It's already on my re-book list, and I'll definitely be looking for Winne again next time! 💯

Excellent! This was the best hotel we stayed at during our 8-day trip. The room was spacious, breakfast was delicious, and the family suite was great. The executive lounge also had good food. Definitely worth coming back! The service was very responsive too. We'll be back next time!

Hidden gem, highly recommend! The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, impeccable cleanliness, and excellent facilities. The service was attentive and thoughtful. The complimentary photoshoot by Bojue Travel Photography was fantastic; the photographer was professional and kind, great at framing shots, so I didn't have to worry about posing. The photos turned out high-end and stunning, offering incredible value for money. Getting to stay and have photos taken all at once was incredibly satisfying!

Our butler, Kaylee, contacted us a day in advance and checked in daily (1-2 times) to ask if we needed cleaning or linen changes. The overall experience was great, the hotel was very comfortable, and the service was impeccable. When my daughter went to the kids' pool, the staff proactively helped her put on a float board – they were incredibly gentle. Since we had a child, the kids' services were also top-notch. Upon check-in, we were given a room close to the central axis, and the view was fantastic!

Coming to Sanya Haitang Bay for a family trip with the kids, choosing Intercontinental was definitely a no-brainer! It was an immersive experience of relaxing by the sea while the kids played, and we were just overflowing with happiness. The butler service was incredibly thoughtful, always responding promptly to any questions we had. They had all the toiletries, kids' slippers, and bathrobes, and they even provided a step stool, a rocking horse, and a tent upon request, which was such a nice touch! The hotel has a mini-train that takes you to the beach, perfect for those who want to avoid walking. There's an indoor slide, a ball pit, a building block area, and climbing facilities. The smallest kids' pool is super safe at 0.5m and 0.9m deep. The kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave! 🤣🤣🤣
