Pearl of Caldera Oia - Boutique Hotel by Pearl Hotel Collection

To celebrate our 10 years anniversary and both our 40s, we wanted a special place, quiet, not too touristic (which is a challenge in Oia). Pearl of caldera is definitely the place you want to be at if you have those criteria. It’s not so easy to access (in a good way) so tourists cannot go down to have a look. The place is on the cliff so there is nobody below you then you have a stunning view on the caldera and also on the blue houses from the pool. Jola and the whole team is so kind and with really good advices. To conclude : so far the best hotel I’ve stayed in.

I have been lucky enough to stay in Oia many times. But this was my first time staying at Pearl of Caldera. And I will be returning for as long as they will have me. From Jola, who is magnificent and lovely and generous in every way. To Fimi, who is a true hero for all he does for the guests. To Tani, their private driver, who was the perfect way to begin and end my trip back to my favorite place. The pool, the bedding, the views, the breakfast, and the entire staff. It’s all just a dream that will make you cry to leave. As I did.

Jola & her husband are wonderful hosts. As are their entire team. We’ve enjoyed a wonderful 4 days in Santorini & made more special with the recommendations & help provided by Jola. From the wonderful breakfast each morning to the clean & well equipped rooms, the Pearl of Caldera is a pearl in the heart of Santorini. Dine in the private restaurant for guests only & let Jola suggest menu - we had the best deconstructed spinach pie, trilogy of sips & Prawn saganaki up on top floor overlooking the Aegean. Fabulous position with an infinity pool set at the perfect temperature. Would recommend walking shoes as they are on the edge of the caldera. Would definitely stay again.

Where you stay while on holiday makes such a difference! Pearl of Caldera on Santorini in Io is simply perfect. I stayed in a Superior Studio with an absolutely stunning view of the Caldera. I had my own balcony right on the edge of the cliff with no other hotels beneath me. A full breakfast was complimentary and delivered right to my door. the bed was so comfortable and the studio was really the size of a regular hotel room- not small at all. A few steps to get to the hotel, from the taxi drop off, but the hotel sent a person to carry my luggage and show me the way. The infinity pool was heated to perfection. I was very jet-lagged, coming from New York, so this was the perfect place to stay after arriving in Athens from a night flight and then taking a short flight to Santorini on Agean Air. The manager, Jola, anticipated all of my needs. I would highly recommend staying at Pearl of Caldera, and the best time to go is late April, early May, before the large crowds and very hot weather arrives. Debra

This is the best boutique hotel in Santorini. The view is indescribable, breath taking. The accommodations are wonderful. Everyone in the hotel are very friendly and they help you in whatever you need. Thank you Jola and Fimi for everything. My family and I had the best time and not forgetting all the balloons they surprised my husband for his birthday. Again I recommend this place 100% ❤️❤️😘😘

The Pearl Caldera was a fabulous place to stay for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. This gorgeous hotel was located perfectly. The views from the hotel were spectacular. The hotel provides a delicious home cooked breakfast with a large choice. The hotel looks over the Caldera. The pool area took our breath away. To sit on their very comfy sun beds and take in the stunning views while sipping a cocktail was fabulous. There is also plenty of shade if you need it. The hotel was very clean, actually spotless and the rooms comfortable. Any excursions you would like then these can be booked at the hotel. We went on a fabulous boat trip. I would definitely like to return and in the meantime I will be telling all our friends about this gem of a hotel ! Thank you to all the hard working staff !! Love Anthony and Ruth

I really don't know where to begin. This is one of the loveliest places I've ever stayed. The room was so beautiful and unique. The pool is gorgeous. The views can't be beat. The food is top notch (and I am from New York City where there is a lot of amazing food). And the staff really made us feel so at home, so at peace. They were lovely people. I enjoyed talking to them every day. Santorini itself is magical. It can also be very crowded. But staying at Pearl of Caldera sheltered you from the crowds and always there was a place to return that was peaceful and quiet. I could have stayed in the hotel without leaving the premises and have been perfectly happy. Thank you, Pearl of Caldera.

Let me start by saying, Jola, the hotel manager as well as all the staff here were AMAZING! Honestly, some of the most kind and hospitable people we've ever met. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Jola is extremely knowledgeable with all things Santorini and is honest in her options, so use her as a resource during your stay. For example, good idea vs bad idea, great tour vs not a great tour, good deal for the money vs bad deal for the money, good food vs not so good food etc. The hotel is a small boutique hotel with only twelve rooms. They are cave style rooms with minimalistic decor but beautifully designed. The hotel hands down has the BEST view of the caldera (volcano), sunset, sunrise, and the town of Oia. The views are simply breathtaking! To top it off the food was incredible. We tried several "famous" places to eat while in Oia but honestly, the food at the hotel could not be beaten and the prices are reasonable. The flavors of the food will make your tastebuds dance! Do yourself a favor and eat at the hotel for dinner of the upper deck. You'll catch a nice breeze and have stunning views. Breakfast is also delicious and the coffee is top notch. I promise you will not regret your stay here. We didn't and we will be back. We consider Jola and the crew family!

I had the vacation of a lifetime here. Needless to say, the view is spectacular. I almost felt guilty, dipping in the pool, and I'd see all these poor people up at the town square lining up trying to get a glimpse of the view - but I was already in heaven haha. The staff is amazing. They would go above and beyond to help you with anything you want. They made excellent recommendations for restaurants, helped us haul our luggage up and down hundred steps, and arranged transport for us to the airport. The hotel itself is impeccable, very well maintained. What can I say. I was so sad to leave. I felt like I was leaving my friends... But overall, ten out of ten experience!
