Andronikos Santorini

Andronikos hotel in Imerovigli, with its incredible views of the caldera and the ruins on Skaros Rock, was the first stop on our honeymoon. Due to Imerovigli’s cliffside position, the layout of the hotel is unusual, with just a few rooms scattered down the cliffside. We stayed in room 11 during September and loved the breathtaking sunsets and top notch people-watching, as our room was on the main footpath between Oia and Fira. We did not find this at all disruptive. Service was excellent, though there is generally just one person on staff. We were delighted by the lavish Greek breakfasts. The hot tub/plunge pool was interestingly designed, tucked into a nook on the patio. I wouldn’t come here just for that! The bed was genuinely at least queen-sized but the pillows left a lot to be desired. New visitors to Santorini will want to purchase LOTS of water before making their way down to the hotel as Imerovigli has many steps. You’ll want your inhaler if you use one! We spent our days wandering back and forth to Fira enjoying the countless (countless!) shops, restaurants, and views. We also hiked down to Skaros Rock and explored the ruins - definitely worth doing!

We loved our time here. Beautiful view, and we enjoyed being right on the Fira - Oia walking path. Glad we got the second floor room for privacy, and the daily breakfast was wonderful. Not many food or bar options close, but Mama Lena was our favorite food in Greece and a 5 minute walk. Alex was very helpful arranging airport transportation and a boat tour, along with giving guidance on the bus system. We will stay again when we make it back!

Beautiful room with incredible view. Alexandru helped us find a tour of the island that we really enjoyed, and he provided restaurant recommendations, too. We enjoyed breakfast and room amenities. (The unexpected cat visitor was fun.) Perfect vacation!

Alex and his staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The room was clean and serviced everyday. Breakfast brought to our room every morning to enjoy on the balcony with fantastic views. Also perfect for the amazing sunsets.

The view from our room was amazing, the best sunset views and view of the volcano island and the caldera…all tourists were coming to take photos from the path in front of our room. The room had unique design, very clean and spacious. The manager Alex was very helpful with everything we needed from recommendations for nice places to have dinner at, to organizing an exceptional sailing tour for us. We had a great time here, thank you Alex and full staff team. Strongly recommending this place.

Andronikos Hotel Imerviglia Santorini, Fantastic Location, Plenty of Steps but Intriguing, Ideal Location for the best views of the Caldeira and Sunset on Santorini. Nick & Pedro always there on Hand, any time of Day or Night, always ready to help or advise, nothing too much trouble. Rooms Quirky, compact and Clean. What a View and a Great Location for a Walk into Fira. We Have Just Started going back to Greece in the last Couple of Years Since the Late Eighties and Early Nineties, Due to Wedding Cake, Mortgages & Children, How Good it is to go to any Greek Island, Whether the People are Greek or Not the Welcome, The Attitude and Atmosphere is the Same, Fantastic, Roll on 2024 For Our Next Greek Shangri-la.
