Kafouros Hotel

My first time as a solo traveller. On arrival i was met was a smiling face,and so helpful.I was shown to my room, wow! Very spacious and spotless. Not just the room, everywhere. I met the owner who is such a lovely lady,which i soon discovered the young lady who greeted me was her daughter. Yes it's a family run hotel, and nothing too much trouble, very warm and welcoming.I can honestly say this is NOT a 3 star.I would highly recommend with no hesitation.It's more like a 4 star. I would recommend to the aircraft spotters as the aircraft fly low ( its near airport) some noise, but never a problem. My honest opinion, i arrived a stranger but i am leaving as a friend....loved it

Excellent holiday. The apar**ents are very clean and roomy. The pool is well maintained and looks inviting. Elena and her family are so welcoming and make the stay even better. There was a nice friendly a**osphere around the place. It is in an ideal situation for the beach, tavernas and shops. Coming back soon!

We stayed at this amazing hotel for the first time in July. The wonderful Eleni and her family went out of their way to look after you, help you and to guide you by giving you information about the island. This really is a beautiful traditional small family run hotel and is probably the prettiest in Kamari. We had a brilliant time there and met some lovely people, so much so that we’ve arranged to go back in September. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The pool area is lovely, as is the pool. And Eleni and her mother make lovely breakfast and snacks throughout the day. The bar is a focal point and we have never known a hotel bar to be so popular at nighttime. It really made our holiday. Our inbound flight was delayed by nearly three hours, so we didn’t arrive until the early hours and Eleni gave us a wonderful welcome and we were able to have a drink after a long day, and were also welcomed by other holiday makers that made us feel so at home. If you are thinking of visiting Kamari, we would wholehearted recommend staying here.

The hotel is tired,depressing the beds and pillows were rock hard. The bathroom was so dark - no window the lighting was poor. Eleni has a short temper she is not customer focused - I heard her being short with a few guests. The outside area around the pool area is disgusting the beds need replacing the cushions were flat and torn. A egg cushion were a cat sat with ripped cushions. We didn't stay in the bar area preferred to go out it was not customer friendly we spent our money elsewhere. The small hotel next door was really nice and friendly. The hotel was central for the beach,bars and restaurants. Good luck if you visit I wouldn't go back to this hotel

Where to start.... a beautiful hotel ran by Eleni and her family from the moment we got there and made sure we had the best time in Santorini, our room was spotless and cleaned everyday, how this hotel is 3* I have no idea. Eleni even booked us a trip which was amazing every question we had or query Eleni and her family gave us all the answers and told us some cracking places to go to eat and sights to see. We will definitely be back in the near future. 5* would recommend to anyone who wants to go to book direct through the hotel brilliant people and brilliant hotel. Thanks again Eleni and family

What a gem! Just came back from a 4.night break and couldn't of wished for a more perfect hotel. Lovely small family run hotel. Eleni is so helpful and friendly. The hotel is spotless. Lovely pool area where everyone mingles during the day and evening at the bar. Great location and easy to get to Fira by local bus. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic,hotel brilliant,5 min away from beach and all local restaurants..eleni,billy,mama amazing host ,lovely cleaning lady cleans rooms daily ....english breakfast fab...defo will return ..hotel also book tours which were brilliant

Highly recommend, a lovely family run hotel in Kamari, Eleni was full of advice and helped with trips we wanted to do and the family are so welcoming. Breakfast was nice and the pool area is lovely, it’s a very well kept clean hotel and would happily return when we next visit the island.

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful family run hotel. We were made to feel very welcomed. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food at the hotel was great value for money and tasty! Overall an excellent stay.
