We stayed in 201. Great view from the room, but in truth, it's a great view from any location on the property. Watch the donkeys clip, clop down the path outside your room, gaze at the amazing waters of the caldera and enjoy the evening lights of Fira, all without even leaving your room. Chris and Gabriel were fantastic to work with. Very knowledgeable accommodating and friendly. We had the most cheerful waitress each morning, and what a great breakfast. They are presently updating so I can only imagine how fantastic it will be. We had to leave early morning so they arranged a packed breakfast and popped it in our fridge. It is up the hill so vehicles can only access to a certain point but Chris helped with the bags and we got used to the short walk very quickly. It's a hive of activity in the area but in your room it feels peaceful and private. This was the highlight of our trip and I highly recommend this location. I hope I can return in the future.

Nice hotel. Terrible experience with the bar above (apparently connected to the hotel) incredibly rude. When we arrived he said where are you going in incredibly rude way) when I went up to buy water so rude! treated me so badly!) I'd never go back! Nice receptionist though! We were under the bar and so noisy! Never go back!

The view from our room is priceless. The location of Kastro Suites is ideal. Eventhough it is located steps away from the cable car entrance where the cruise people congregate everyday, our suite was far enough that it did not bother us. The breakfast was delicious and enough to fuel us until lunch time. We mostly appreciated Mario's superb service - he was very helpful from meeting us at the main street to helping us with our luggages at 3am!

Staff at kastro excellent. Nice roomy family suite - the bathroom is dated. Convenient location and the rooms insulated from any street noises. The biggest drawback are the crowds/lines for the cable car making it a challenge to get to the hotel depending on your timing.

Kastro suites is an amazing place to stay. We enjoyed everything. Location is a 10, right in front of La caldera to see the best sunsets from your terrace. Service is great. Price is very reasonable. Sophia helped us with a situation. The location is perfect, very central in the heart of Fira, great home made breakfast. Everything was perfect. Increíble price for this amazing place. We came as a family of 4, (not many families visiting Santorini), but Sophia and Mario were fantastic. Excellent location and amazing view. The Caldera suite had plenty of room for a family of 4.
