Abasa Suites

Ten out of ten!!! They are always willing to help if you have any questions. We arrived in Santorini at midnight and the reception still waiting for us, the bed is already made when we arrive. Good quality breakfast, clean room and instant help. Love it! Hope to be back to the abasa suites one day.

My review is from the perspective of a: Solo traveler with rental car, looking to sightsee Santorini and not stay in the hotel for other than sleep if this sounds like the type of trip you're on, then I would highly recommend Abasa Suites. The room was superb! roomy, comfortable, super clean (I booked deluxe room). Everything looks brand new and the cleaning staff are great!!! The staff is friendly and the manager Tijana goes above and beyond to make the guest experience memorable(booking tours etc.) The pros: Big, comfy, clean room. Quiet - no noise around whatsoever! There's a small parking lot in the back of the property, very convenient to park your rental car. Even though there is no 24 hr receptionist, there is someone available to let you in your room after hours (seems all the neighbors work together). The not so pros (don't want to call them cons): The place is a 20 minute walk from central Fira so if you don't have a car, be prepared to walk into town(uphill, donkey viewing kinda walk). The tours will not pick you up onsite and you have to walk to the main road ,. about 10 mins (even though the tours tell you "hotel pick up") The pool is very small so if you're looking to take laps in the pool this is not the place for you. Hate to say but the pool wasn't too clean... (I would not have gotten in it even if it was just to soak). The breakfast is extremely basic and nothing to rave about. You pick what you want to have from a menu but to give you an idea the "fruit" consists of sliced apples and pears. (last day I got 1 strawberry sliced in half) All in all.... Great room, not so great location if you don't have a rental car. If you're a breakfast person, expect to be disappointed. Will I stay here again? if I wanted to stay away from central Fira madness with a car rental and didn't care about the view... yes !

Very satisfied with our stay. Everything was the way described. High quality accommodation. The breakfast was served depending on what we had asked for the previous day. In case you want to use the jacuzzi and the temperature is low, it takes more than two hours to heat. The staff was very polite and eager to inform/ make reservations. Totally worth it.

This accommodation is brilliant! The breakfast is very tasty and substantial. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day, and the towels are replaced every day. The pool area is great for relaxing. All of the staff are very helpful and friendly.

My husband and I just returned from a seven-night stay at Abasa Suites and we loved it! We went with another couple who enjoyed the property as much as we did. We arrived late at night but the hotel’s very kind owner was waiting for us. She quickly got us settled into our rooms for the night, leaving us with plenty of filtered water, the wifi password for the property, a breakfast menu, and instructions for contacting Tijana, who ably serves as the hotel’s receptionist/concierge/manager. The next morning, after enjoying a delicious breakfast on the terrace, we were given an excellent orientation (in fluent English) to both the property and the locale by the effervescent Tijana. Throughout our stay, Tijana smoothed the way for us by assisting with restaurant, activity, and transportation recommendations and reservations. As for our rooms (we booked two deluxe rooms) they were both beautiful and impeccably clean. Our rooms differed in layout and but I would say they were equally attractive and comfy. Each had a small kitchen with a table and four chairs; a sitting area with a flat-screen TV and a sofa that converted to a bed if needed; a bedroom with an extraordinarily comfortable king sized bed and another flat-screen TV: a well-appointed bathroom with a great shower and plenty of hot water; and a lovely private veranda facing the pool, also with table and chairs. A tasty, made-to-order breakfast was included with our daily room rate, and was served in an outdoor seating area under a pergola. There was a nice variety of breakfast fare on offer, and our choices were served on time—with drink refills and additional food portions freely offered. Abasa Suites is a beautifully designed and maintained property where we all felt that our well-being and enjoyment truly mattered to the owner and her staff. I recommend it without reservation!
