Alexandra Hotel

Seemed like a very fun hotel bar and pool situation. Cheap drinks, good music, beach vibes. Clean and quiet. We were only here for a night before we caught an early flight.

The hotel was lovely and clean all the time. Bedrooms also nice and modern. And sun beds when you could get one were nice..

Just returned from a 4 night stay here and we had a wonderful time. Room was great. Lovely and clean. Staff were very hard working. Breakfast was basic but then I rarely eat breakfast. Lovely coffee. The bar snacks were really nice and every dish was great. Massive portions. Prices were good. We didn’t get picked up to go home until 8pm so we paid and extra €40 and kept our room for how ever long we needed so we could make full use of everything and have a shower before leaving. Well worth it. 10 min walk to the beach and main ***** with ample restaurants and bars. Kings Bar laid on a romantic meal on the beach for my husband and I which was out of this world. Hotel is a mile away from the airport so you see planes going over and they can be loud but we didn’t hear anything from the room and if anything we enjoyed working out where they had come from! Only issue I could find was the sunbeds. You must be out there for latest 7am and able to sit with your sunbed or your towel can be removed. This happened once during the stay so they do actually do it. There isn’t enough for every guest, so be prepared! All in all a lovely break and we would definitely stay here again. We even got given 2 bottles of wine as gifts from the owners for staying! Thank you Hotel Alexander!

Staying here for a week via Jet2. Room 26 balcony, excellent view of planes coming into land, which we’ve enjoyed rather than found annoying, sound only lasts for around 10s. Modern Triple room with Flatscreen TV, Fridge, able to borrow a kettle FOC. Modern spacious tiled bathroom, daily cleaning, towels etc. AC is FOC too and Free Wi-Fi in room and throughout hotel. Staff at hotel very efficient and helpful in assisting with any queries and / or booking cars/ATVs/trips etc Breakfast options extensive every morning 0730-1000, cereals/yogurt and peaches, Greek savouries, pastries, bread n cheese, toast n jams, feta/olives/tomatoes, hot scrambled egg, sausages, beans. Fresh juices and decent hot drinks machine. Plenty staff keeping everything topped up. Small 20m pool, 150cm at deep end, loungers/bean bags surround pool. Sun in morning,. Drinks and food served nearby at open bar area with tables n chairs and big screen showing sports. 30€ for late departures, gives you room until required. tourist tax is only 2€ per night. 10 min walk into centre of Kamari and it is well lit. Excellent well run small modern family run hotel, highly recommend.

Rooms are really basic,not even bedside drawers to put your underwear in.Breakfast is repetitive, not 1 change of any item all week,we actually went elsewhere for breakfast as after 3 days couldn't eat the same stuff.The only things that was edible was scrambled egg,toast and orange juice.Balcony was ok.
