We had a great time at Hotel Heliotopos! It’s a beautiful hotel with amazing views and also sunset view. Very clean and very hospitable and courteous staff (especially Eleni). They also help you plan sightseeing at Santorini. Definitely recommend staying here.

My family and I chose this hotel because of the location and amazing reviews. We didn't go wrong. Our stay was amazing, from the amazing view, hotel cleanliness, the staff hospitality, to the location close to beautiful restaurants with amazing views. I would choose this place again if I returned to visit Santorini someday. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks for making our visit so memorable.

We stayed at the Heliopolis hotel in July 2024. As others have noted, the hotel has phenomenal Caldera and sunset views; in my view, the best on Santorini. The pool is small and there are only a few chairs, but it’s a nice place to relax if you get space there. Our room was comfortable with plenty of space for bags, etc. The walk to Fira is very doable - around 20-25 mins. Oia was a 20-40 mins drive, depending on traffic. Taxis to Oia (we arranged through the hotel) were pricey (around 50 euros each way), so it is likely cheaper to try an Uber taxi. There are restaurants close to the hotel. The Wine Bar at the hotel similarly has an amazing view and is well worth the cost (you can reserve online in advance and pick the type of view table that you want). The food and drink options there are great, but a bit pricey like elsewhere on Santorini. We found the breakfast to be okay, but the coffee/juice bar was nice. We didn’t find the breakfast staff to be as welcoming as some other staff at the hotel but we didn’t really interact with them a lot. Overall, some room for improvement, but would recommend the hotel for a stay!

Well located to capture the view. Unique rooms. After arriving late and looking for a romantic view our atmosphere was disappointingly impacted by a staff members child loudly playing kids entertainment on their ipad which was incredibly thoughtless for those of us that had come such a long way to enjoy the Santorini experience. After our kind request for consideration, management chose to disregard us. This was at 10.30 pm.

The Heliotopos Hotel was so charming and relaxing, and a perfect place to stay in Santorini. The location is perfect. You can access the Fira to Oia trail and get to Fira in about 30 minutes, or explore the more quiet area of Iveromigli. The family suite had a double bed on the first and two singles on a loft, and a kitchenette. The room was clean and fresh. Breakfast was a beautiful spread of home made pies and cakes, fruit and yogurt. The staff are so lovely. They took care of our every need, including providing us a breakfast of sandwiches and fruit to take to the airport for our early flight. I would absolutely stay here again. It is perfect situated for tourist activities and viewing sunsets.

We so enjoyed Heliotopos Hotel! My family (2 adults, 2 kids) made the most of this central location on Santorini in the town of Imerovigli. The walk to Fira was not too far, the sunset view is perfect, and the service and food was impeccable. They helped arrange transfers anywhere we wanted on the island. I can not think of any better way to get the real feeling of Santorini!

Our stay was amazing! The view is incredible and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It was very peaceful and quiet, a very nice place to see the sunset. Really enjoyed the little attentions like the lemonade while we were checking in. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

Incredible view of the caldera. Accomodations we very comfortable and clean. Very good location, close to the bus stop to Fira and Oia. Imerovegli is a lot less busy then Oia and easy access by car. You can also walk to Fira, you can enjoy several interest points on the way and get a closer view of the volcano island. The nicest staff, were always happy to help.
