Clean and spacious room. Lovely hotel surroundings. Nice swimming pools and only a 30 seconds walk to the black stones beach. The water is so clear. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a buffet service. Freshly prepared breakfast to cater for all.

Had a lovely family holiday here this week, we very rarely had to ask anything from reception etc as everything was so well Organised. The staff are lovely all around the hotel. Hotel is lovely and clean. You can catch the sunrise from the hotel beach area - lovely clean beach with a fab lady running around cleaning the sand of the mattresses. The sunbeds round the pool are amazing, like lying in a big comfy bed! The hotel organised a day trip for us which was fantastic, and also taxis to Fira etc - we made a great choice in choosing this hotel as it is so relaxing compared to the hustle and bustle of the main touristy areas - even in October. I can understand why people have said here that they come back time and time again, we will be back! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Arrived for 10 night stay & we were blown away by how beautiful this hotel is as soon as we stepped into reception. Checkin was easy with an information sheet given, then we were shown to our room which was 335. The room was so clean with a beautiful view of the pools and sea. Very comfy bed, sofa & a fantastic shower. We did ask reception for a kettle which was provided so we could have coffee on the balcony. Breakfast had so much choice and with beautiful pastries & croissants. We organized a trip via the Hotel to Oia. Definitely recommend this as it was so easy with a lovely driver. Easy to get the public bus to Fira from bus stop near by. We had lunch from the pool bar & can definitely recommend the chicken club sandwich which was large so great to share for lunch & were very popular. Loads of choice of tavernas at back of hotel along beach & a mini market about a 3 minute walk away. The staff here work so hard & are a credit to the hotel! Whilst you don’t see the sunset, you can see the most beautiful sunrises from the beach just across the road from the hotel. I went to the beach nearly every morning to watch the sunrise and it was stunning. We were grateful for a late check out as we weren’t being picked up until 9pm for our return flight. We will definitely be back and 100% recommend this hotel. It is perfect and made it the most memorable holiday.

Where to start with this review... What a lovely resort with exceptional staff. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful second floor room with pool and seaview. Upon arriving at 930pm we were greeted with a very friendly welcome and helped to our room. We ate at the pool bar serving food until 1030pm after arriving as we didn't want to search for alternative food at that point. There is a greek night and music night. The Greek night was excellent and if you are prepared to dance and get involved you'll love it and with the bar staff working their socks off to make sure the drinks flow you can't go wrong for a night. We found the prices good but it all depends on the prices you expect to pay when on holiday. There are a good number of restaurants/ bars/ pool venues within 2min walk to suit all tastes. The whole resort was spotlessly clean and our room was serviced everyday even the morning after our arrival. Breakfast is very good it can get busy but you will be able to find the best time for you there is always an adequate amount of tables and the food doesn't run out although there may be squabbles over teapots Option to buy half board per day is a good offer of €25pppn although with menus printed in reception each day. First week September we found no issues with beds as we were up at 8 for breakfast. There are obviously though who reserved all day but they were the minority. You may find it difficult to get a bed of where you want around 1030 but there are plenty of good quality beds on the beach and you can order food and drink there too. Pool/ beach towel change every 2 days is a really big bonus. The hotel helped arrange travel to Fira and Oia (highly recommend but check travel times in September to ensure you get there in time for sunset) and very reasonable prices and with really good transport services. The walk along from Perivilos to Perissa is very nice but would recommend it on a day with a breeze. The only disappointment is we couldn't get a 10day break because of flight availability as we would have stayed longer. Excellent resort with excellent. Highly recommend.

**Room** We stayed in room 206, a junior suite, with our two children, aged 10 and 12. The space was adequate, featuring a decent-sized double bed and what appeared to be another double bed that separated into two singles. The room included a balcony with a partial view of the pool and a large outdoor chess set. The bathroom was nice with a powerful shower. Additionally, the room was clean and tidy, equipped with a small sink area, a kettle, and a small fridge in the cupboard. It also had a safe and air conditioning, and daily housekeeping service. **Resort/Pool** The resort itself was lovely, offering two good-sized pools, a baby pool, and a spa-type pool. There is a bar open all day for ordering food and drinks, though be prepared for high prices typical of Santorini. Sunbeds with umbrellas are available around the pools, and the resort provides towels, which can be exchanged every 48 hours. Although reserving sunbeds is not allowed, it unfortunately happens frequently without much enforcement. Some people place towels on sunbeds early in the morning and are not seen all day, using up sunbeds unnecessarily. To secure a good spot, you need to be proactive, especially since it can get very hot in July and August. The resort also has toilets and a shower room near the pool. Just outside the gate, across a small road, is a private-ish beach with dark volcanic sand. **Food** We stayed on a half-board basis, which included breakfast and an evening meal, both served buffet-style. Breakfast was more enjoyable compared to the evening meals, which became repetitive over our 10-night stay. The menu lacked variety, with only slight changes each night. Improvement in this area would enhance the overall experience. **Verdict** Overall, Santo Mira Mare is a very nice resort and likely the best in the area. However, it is somewhat remote, so day trips are necessary to see the sights. The pools, rooms, and staff were excellent and contributed to a fantastic stay. Despite some minor issues, the resort is commendable overall.

Stayed here in August for a couple of nights. It is a great hotel especially for its value and we really enjoyed it. The staff and service is really good and it is very convenient and a big perk in my opinion that the beach is right in front of the hotel, and more specifically you know you're almost guaranteed a spot because the chairs are reserved for clients. While it can be quite a drive to the other side of the island (Oia), not having to drive during the day especially if you're looking to hang out by Black Beach is a huge plus. The rooms were also quite spacious and very clean.

The hotel was lovely, staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly and efficient. The cleaners were excellent - one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed. Shower was nice and powerful Breakfast was very nice and something slightly different every day - pizza's at the pool bar were excellent too. We had a lovely trip the only downside was that all three of the pools were freezing - they could of at least heated the hot tub it was more like ice bath!!! The Island is same prices as here for drinks but the shops were a lot more expensive - get your room booze in duty free!!

There are many very good aspects to this hotel : The setting around the pool area. The private beach just across the road. The staff were all lovely and worked tirelessly to keep the whole place spotless and working efficiently. The location is good - not too busy but plenty of choice of bars and restaurants. A 5 minute walk gets you to Perivolos Beach bus stop, where there are regular and cheap buses to Fira (they first go on to Perissa, before setting off to Fira). The room we were given was okay but not great. It faced the road behind the hotel where trucks/buses/taxis would often stop leaving their engines running. Some very noisy motorbikes during the night as well...it might be worth choosing a room upgrade to avoid this. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice but the fresh fruit was surprisingly mediocre and the orange juice was awful - reconstituted powder from a machine. We opted to bring our own cartons bought from the nearby mini-market.

The hotel rooms were just as lovely as they looked on the pictures. We did pay for a room upgrade, simply because it offered a sea view, however, we couldn't see the sea as there were a lot of trees which were the same height as our balcony - if I booked again, I likely wouldn't do the upgrade based on the view. The room was lovely though and great size - our friends stayed in a standard room which was also lovely. The decor was modern and the room was well maintained. The rooms were cleaned each day, with fresh towels, bed made etc. Breakfast had a good choice, I couldn't fault it. There were plenty of pools, albeit slightly cold, but this was fine after a few minutes. We did have to get up early to get sunbeds, around 7am, if we wanted a good spot. But we found on days we didn't, there would still be beds available but we would struggle to get 4 together. The drink service at the pool was good. We also had lunch which was good quality and had good choices. We did not eat dinner, but it was a buffet for £25 each. Entertainment was on 2 evenings a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays - they were not the best. Overall, the staff throughout the hotel were professional and really friendly - nothing was too much for all them. The location of the hotel is great, with lots of restaurants to choose from on the beach road and a private sliver of beach just for hotel guests. We took the local bus on a few occasions. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance, but there are only a few buses a day at this stop. For more frequent stops the bus stop in Perivolos is a 10 minute walk. We could not fault the hotel at all - if we ever return to Santorini, we will definitely return to this hotel. We feel the hotel location was probably the best on the island - lots of restaurants, easy bus access and quiet.
