Not what I expected — disappointing experience My stay at Arotron Suites was unfortunately below expectations. The property did not match the online photos or descriptions — it lacked charm and did not offer the advertised sea views. No receptionist on staff in the evenings like in a normal hotel, so I was kinda scared each night, cos I was alone; the Door has no automatic key card, just a single long key. But the rooms were cleaned every day by a housekeeper. On my last day, I noticed some of my belongings were missing and had to file a police report, which made the experience even more unpleasant. The police stated they will follow up. Transportation was also challenging — several drivers refused to pick me up because of the hotel’s difficult location and layout, leaving me to walk under the hot sun. Although my suite was described as the largest, it only had a jacuzzi, while smaller suites had private pools. This felt misleading and disappointing given the high temperatures (over 90°F) during my stay. Overall, I did not enjoy my time here and would not recommend this hotel to others visiting Santorini.

It is hard to find the words to describe this property. It was absolutely exceptional & we were amazed by everything. It feels brand new. Everything is gorgeous. It’s thoroughly cleaned & maintained at all times. It’s dressed beautifully and I can confidently say out of all my years travelling round the world at lots of hotels this one exceeded my every expectation. It is simply perfect. Nadia is outstanding with what she does. She gets back to you so quickly & is happy to help arrange anything you need. I felt like I had a personal assistant - she really provided the most incredible service with a smile on her face. The local village is a 5 minute walk and it’s just what we had hoped for. A choice of restaurants and bars but not too busy and commercialised. We visited Oia which Nadia arranged transport for and she also made lots of personal recommendations. Everything you could want or need is in the property. It’s so thoughtfully arranged. The breakfast on the terrace is just gorgeous. This hotel is so special and if you are thinking of booking, please do. You will simply not regret it.

A Fantastic Hotel not to be missed if you visit Santorini. Our stay at AROTRON Santorini was, without a doubt, an unforgettable experience. From the very first moment we were made to feel special, cared for with a level of care and dedication that goes beyond expectations. Every detail, every smile from the team, every gesture of kindness... they made us feel pampered, like at home, but with the magic of Santorini enveloping everything. Thanks to the whole team for giving us a few days of true disconnection, luxury and warmth.

This place is perfection. The suites are quiet, comfortable, and romantic. The private pool is a wonderful way to start, spend, or wrap up a day. The staff, led by the wonderful Nadia, is ever accommodating and discretely attentive. The breakfast is as large or small as you’d like and VERY tasty. Pyrgos is off the touristy path of Fira and Oia, but close enough to get there quickly and easily; but, has its own unique charm with great food and history, and several wineries nest by. I heartily recommend the Arotron Suites. It is a hidden gem. It is one of my most memorable stays in decades.

5/5 Experience, everything was perfect. Staff are amazing and do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. We were well looked after. 5 star ranting. The room was amazing. Breakfast was brought to us every morning on our Terrance. Pool area was beautiful and so was a views. So relaxing and peaceful. No noise. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back in future. Little town 5mins walk, so many lovely restaurants to eat in we recommend rosemary and Penelope’s. Breathtaking views over the town and the whole of Santorini. Thank you for the most wonderful stay!

We had a delightful five-day stay in the honeymoon suite. Nadia and the team were always on hand for whatever we needed, and the transportation service they recommended was fantastic.
The room was perfect for us—such a nice, quiet spot away from the busier tourist areas. The room was cleaned every day and they even would go in and make sure it was perfect for us when returning from dinner.
The private pool and sun loungers were absolutely perfect!
I would definitely stay again.

Cannot fault our stay at Arotron in September. The Villa was immaculate and stylish with fabulous views. Breakfast was delivered each morning to enjoy on the patio. The villa is very peaceful and many lovely restaurants 5-10 minutes walk. The staff were friendly and helpful and Nadia In particular went above and beyond to help us when one of us needed medical care. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From the moment we drove into the property there was nothing we could fault. We booked a honeymoon suite but was given upgrade to executive suite which we were very thankful for. I was given lovely bottle of wine for my birthday as well. Pros - Location absolutely peaceful, calm, clean with view of caldera. - Warm, attentive and caring staff (Nadia) - Lovely pool and rooms nicely decorated. - Few nice restaurants and cafes in walking distance in a pretty little Pyrgos village. Con’s - To get to Fira town which is just about 10 min taxj drive will cost €50 2 way - Great selection of breakfast but definitely room for improvement. Coffee was great. - Pool slightly cold. Water temperature might suit abit later in the month. - If hotel could put some plates and cutleries in the room it would be great
