Villa Garden

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und schön, obwohl der Boden etwas rau war, aber alles war großartig, mein Freund und ich hatten eine tolle Zeit im Villa Garden und auf Santorini.

From the first moment we entered the mini room where there was an older Greek man at the desk smoking cigarettes, we knew right away that something was going to be wrong. The man gave me a piece of paper on which he had written the names of the guests arriving and I had to find mine, then he stood up and said Well, that's it, we're going downstairs to the room where he was walking with a cigarette who was also smoking and exhaling smoke when he entered the room, talking to us. Rats are running around outside. The internet doesn't work in the lower rooms, there's no signal at all. The TV doesn't work, only one of the 4 sockets works, the rest are barely hanging on to the wall. What's worse, for our entire 4-day stay, for the first 2 days there was no hot water at all. One knob in the sink works. After we drew attention to the water, they fixed something, so on the last day we could wash normally. No one comes to the room to clean or change towels. The jacuzzi outside is dirty, full of leaves from the trees, completely without water. On the morning of our departure, we left the room, the door to the so-called "reception/room" was of course closed. So we left the keys in the door of the room. When we were leaving, a Greek guy came out from behind the villa and asked how my stay was. When I told him that it wasn't too bad and there were problems with the water, he started explaining that the whole island has problems (which is not true, because my family has lived on the island for many years). The location is great because it's literally 10 minutes to the center on the street opposite the villa. I honestly don't recommend it, as for a stay in June in the middle of the season it's a tragedy.
