I stayed at May Seven Suites Hostel during my trip to Santorini, and it was the perfect base for exploring the island. The place was clean, stylish, and modern, with a peaceful vibe that made it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing.
Located in Megalochori but you can take a bus to Fira (where it is so convenient to walk to restaurants, shops, and the famous caldera viewpoints).
The staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere felt safe and welcoming — great for solo travelers or anyone looking for an affordable yet boutique-style stay.
Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a budget-friendly but quality place in a great location!

“George”, who owns/runs the hotel, is so nice, welcoming, and helpful! He arranged for us to rent a car that showed up ready for us just a half hour later. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Megalochori (via the street without a sidewalk). Megalochori is a really lovely town! Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Big room with good air conditioning!

Rooms are well designed but that is the only positive feature. The property is very tired, the pool furniture is falling apart. A kettle in the room was dangerously faulty but never replaced despite complaint. The so-called sunset view is onto power cables and another property’s car park and security fencing - all airbrushed out of the photographs on advertising. The advertised spa does not exist and never has. The location is awful - on an extremely busy road with the property exit right on a blind bend. The road noise is incessant - around 900 vehicles per HOUR at 8am and continuous until past midnight.

Great time!!!
Some people complained about the hot tub taking too long or the room not being clean which really scared us. We were relieved to see the place was as wonderful as other reviews described. You need to turn the hot tub on and give it like 5 hours to heat up. The service was great and the people were so kind. The air conditioning functioned wonderfully also. I couldn’t give it 5 stars solely because the water system in our room, I had a great time and would go back though. Also wonderful location!

Location of the hotel is quite remote, but that we knew. Nearby village Mechalogori is beautiful, very small and have only few restaurants. So basically you need to go all the way to Perissa, Kamari or Fira to find bars and restaurants. Hotel was nice, but age is starting to show, specially in bathroom and jacuzzi. Jacuzzi's heating system was a complete mystery to us. It worked on two days of our 6 day staying, on 4 days it didn't, and temperature was then only around 30C. Staff was not able/willing to fix it. Otherwise staff was friendly. Wiew was not exactly as good as in pictures due to nearby village between hotel and sea, but rather OK.
