The hotel is located in a comfortable position, close to the north cost in a small town, just 15/20 minutes drive from Ponta Delgada & the Airport.
To my surprise when we arrived there were two type of rooms, suites or bungalows, of course according to the price we paid we were assigned the suite.
What surprised me that during the booking process to photos we saw were not the suites, which led us to believe that was going to look different than it actually was.
The amenities were limited, there is no safe or fridge in the suites.
In the bathroom the paper holder was rusted because it has been positioned under the towel rack.
The breakfast included option was fine, but little limited and repetitive, fruits were fresh and good, as well as well various cheese and hams choices.
If you can get a cheap price for your stay is overall a good option, but bear in mind that there are some caveats.
I would suggest to the hotel to update their images on the platforms and separate clearly the type of rooms available in order to avoid unwanted surprises for the guests.

Awesome stay! The owner was very nice and gave us a tour of the property. The hotel had many accommodations (pool, breakfast, sauna, garden, restaurant). They also have ample parking! The hotel was also close to other restaurants and tourist attractions. We were very close to Sete Cidades which made it convenient for our long day hike. Would stay again!

Accommodation consists of either bungalows or terraced apartments (we had a bungalow) The bungalow has a kitchen with a small fridge, a microwave, a stove and dishes. Attention, there is no oven. There is free parking and a swimming pool. There is a large park with many interesting plants and trees. Breakfast and dinner were great :-)

Não recomendo o restaurante! Restaurant not recommended! Very bad experience! The owner was there and his attitude was in line with the entire bad experience! You should read all the bad feedback and take actions! I would say - be less Conde and more Customer Oriented!

The rooms are lovely The staff that are in the restaurant and reception are lovely The food is terrible Chef salad ( no description on the menu) A mountain of wilted lettuce with 2 slices of cucumber and half a tomato with pineapple, grapes,kiwi fruit ( looked like cut with a butter knife!) apple & stuffed olives To be honest looked like whatever was left in the fridge !! Tonight’s dinner promised a solar burger Again no description but was the cheapest of burgers I would think you can buy with a fried egg on top and chips that although reasonably tasty were pale and limp Service was great but marred by the owner/manager bullying her staff to the point of tears ( her and the three men accompanying her were the only other diners) Great shame as it could be so nice but quality of produce shows meanness of spirit

The room smelled pretty bad because it was damp and wasn't clean. The elevator was blocked and you had to carry your suitcase up and down. One day there wasn't even room service. The morning buffet wasn't generous but it was good.

We passed by and saw Restaurante Solar do Conde!!!! A big, huge piece of rubbish. Starting in the room where they took us... 1 room with a lot of old mirrors and without any ventilation or air conditioning. Poor service, not even a bottle of iced water... we asked for garlic bread... it came with sliced bread far away from any garlic. There wasn't even any salt shaker... but they gave me one that didn't come out of salt. I ordered a hot cheese, which came cold. A pasta that arrived warm and I still don't know if it was a pasta salad with grilled chicken breast without any seasoning. A disaster !!!! As a hotel, I can't vouch for anything, but as a restaurant... a ****

We were very disappointed by this hotel where we stayed for 4 nights with half board. The exteriors are fallow, we were supposed to have a bungalow, ultimately we got a room, we were not able to cook for lunch. The half board also disappointed us, a bowl of soup every evening and the choice between 2 very frugal dishes, not to mention the desserts. The breakfasts are ordinary... The staff is pleasant but we will not keep a memorable memory of this place. The wind tunnel above the restaurant prevents peace and quiet by the pool... Really a shame.
