酒店就在老城中心地帶,性價比不錯,大堂有免費咖啡,有早餐我們沒來及吃打包了簡單的三明治。出門就是星巴克,鬧中取靜。非常不錯。前台服務很好。

You can do a walking city tour, with no need for private guide. Many historical /touristic places are very near by: Palacio de la Moneda, Cerro Santa Lucia, Plaza del Armas, Santiago Cathedral. It is also close to Moneda metro station if you want to go further. The staff is also very polite and helpful, they really care about guests and if you have any doubts or need any help, they are ready to assist. I strongly recommed.

Wonderful hotel! Very tasty breakfast. All staff are awesome, but we want to express our appreciation especially to Miguel. Miguel’s English is excellent and he helped many times to resolve some language barriers and important questions about our travel.

I stayed 3 nights in the so called executive single room. My room was of a decent size, with all the appropriate amenities including a chair, a table, etc. There was also a small balcony, which was a nice surprise. The balcony was overlooking the street, which ended to be relatively quiet (Saturday and Sunday felt pretty dead in this area though). The bathroom was also spacious, everything worked properly, with enough hot water and a proper water pressure. The room looked clean to me and there was no issues with housekeeping. I could tell that the room furnishings were worn out though, like old furniture, etc. It didn’t bother me much because of my short stay, but it was quite apparent nonetheless. A/C also looked old and it was a bit noisy. The buffet breakfast was adequate. It didn’t have a plenty of choices but it was OK for me. In terms of location, as you probably already know, it is very central. I walked to the hotel back from San Cristobal's Funicular Station (taking Uber there) and also walked everywhere. If you don’t like walking, then Uber is readily available in the area. Also, as I said earlier, keep in mind that this area is pretty dead on weekends. On weekdays the area comes to life and there are many restaurants next to the hotel that offer lunch menus. In terms of service I can’t say much because I barely asked for anything. But it seemed OK. Wi-Fi in my room was non-existing. This was a bad experience. But I suspect it was because of my room’s location. Otherwise Wi-Fi worked OK on the floor or in other places. The hotel also charges for everything, even for a bottled water in your room that is there on your arrival. All in all, not a bad experience. I am giving 4 stars but it is more like 3.5 stars review. I would recommend it for a short stay.

Hotel was ok, beds were nice but bathroom was not properly cleaned (quite a few hairs left in the sink/ shower). I would however not recommend to stay in this area, no shops/restaurants were open nearby and I got robbed two blocks away from the hotel. Obviously not the fault of the hotel but for the sake of fellow international travellers I'd recommend staying elsewhere while in Santiago.

Old style hotel with quite dated rooms haphazardly modernised in places. Nice large bed. Tv didn’t work. Slow lifts. Average breakfast. Almost no English spoken. Good central location. But not bad value. Despite other comments here the area seemed ok, or at least no different to most other parts of Santiago.

This hotel has a fairly decent quality of service - a good free breakfast is provided, it's not too expensive, and the room was fairly large and clean. The internet is reasonably fast and I even had a small balcony. However, the major drawbacks on this hotel for me are twofold - firstly, the hotel is right in the middle of downtown Santiago. That might seem like a perk, but for me it was the opposite. It's quite a dangerous area, especially at night, with muggers and pickpocketers being quite common here. Coming back to the hotel every night, I only really felt safe once I could see the hotel - which is also not that easy to spot. In fact, one night I did in fact get mugged and my phone and wallet were stolen - no more than three blocks away from the hotel! The reception did try to help me, but here is the other drawback for me - almost none of the staff spoke English. Those that did spoke very little, which it very difficult to communicate what had happened and how I wanted them to help me. Overall, it's a nice hotel with fairly reasonable prices, but as I said before, those two drawbacks mean I won't use this hotel again. Still, if you're Spanish is good and you're set on staying in central Santiago, you might consider staying at this hotel.
