Clean hotel but slightly dated, food quality and quantity were good with always helpful staff. Advertised as 4 star and not disappointed with cost. The entertainment was limited but the staff tried hard to entertain through the day and in the evening with aquarobics and karaoke etc.

Beautiful clean hotel. Friendly staff. Lovely pool area but it should open before 10.00am Food choice at dinner, was quite poor but breakfast was great. Fantasic location, within walking distance to Los Gigantes for super views. Shops and restaurants very close

I stayed in this hotel last week and I was disgusted by the attitude of staff. When we checked in we where told our room wasn’t ready (which is fine) but we where not told where we could get changed (it was 1pm and roasting hot and we where in jeans and trainers.) We decided to go to lunch. When we came back an hour later we were looked at stupidly and told our room still wasn’t ready. We took it upon ourselves to get changed in the bathrooms and went to sunbathe. Eventually a couple hours later, the room was ready. The receptionist didn’t tell us where to find our room, what time breakfast/check out/lunch was. We had to find out from a flyer in the elevator. Our air con leaked twice, once onto my friends belongings. The room just wasn’t up to standard (photos below) You have to pay €1 for your cup for the week to save on “waste” - don’t understand why they don’t just tell customers to bring their cup back when they’ve finished? All week the staff were just rude. The alcohol was watered down and tasted horrible, the food was undercooked and the signs where misplaced so you didn’t even know what you was eating. Considering it’s a 4 star hotel you’d expect better service and better quality food. There was one maid who told me to leave the room whilst she was cleaning when I went back to get some of my items, very strange. The entertainer Ruben was really good despite getting a hard time from the miserable grumpy staff members. One evening a bartender called “salvador” unplugged Ruben’s karaoke set 10 mins before he was due to finish due to “noise” (it wasn’t even loud) and then complained about him to the receptionist. Wouldn’t go back even if you paid me, most depressing moody hotel I’ve stayed in.

We have been coming to this hotel for 16 yrs + at least twice a year. They have made vast improvements to the hotel in this time, but one thing remains the same... that's the staff, right from management, bar staff, cleanera etc, they are all so friendly and professional. When we came in March there was a new entertainer Dumi and we were lucky to have him here this two week holiday. Dumi is the best entertainer the hotel has had. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, once again. Thankyou Lagos de Cesar xx

Don't listen to the negative reviews. Just come back from a 4 night all inclusive stay. Food was fantastic, all drinks and cocktails available on the all inclusive, rooms were spacious and beds were super comfortable, staff were lovely and super helpful. Area is fairly quiet, a few bars and shops in walking distance but there is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the hotel, with frequent buses for 2-4 euros to all towns in the sw of the island. We also booked a great boat trip with flipper uno down in the town for 2 hours for €25 to see whales and dolphins. My only negative is the entertainment is ok but not fantastic, but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable break in a lovely area with great food then this is your hotel.

After 3 years of staying at Blue Sea every January, we would say it perfectly meets our needs for long stay winter getaways. Sea views spectacular, walking distance to beach. Spotlessly clean in every area, very comfortable beds, friendly staff, food more than adequate. We find it quiet & entertainment noise stops early. Bus stops near to get to anywhere on the island. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade i.e. shower curtains are not our thing so screens would be much better, but for a very reasonable cost this is a minor grumble And it’s lovely meeting up with fellow travellers who are spending a winter break here in the sun
