A lovely place to stay. Very welcoming. Typically Spanish. Beds were very comfortable. No complaints. Loved Santiago! Parking was tricky so make sure that when you park, DO NOT park in the green areas. I misheard the instructions (which is easy to do when you are deaf and tired from traveling), so park carefully. Please try the restaurant in the shared courtyard. Simply excellent quality food and reasonably priced.

San Nicolas is a period property that has been nicely renovated but left with it's old world charm. Alejandro is a true gentleman and couldn't have been nicer. It is not hard to get to and is a short walk from Praza de Galicia (less than 10 mins) which is a main stop on the 6A bus from the airport (1 euro for bus). The hotel (more like an Inn) is at the bottom of a hill so if any mobility issues it could be a bit tricky but there are less direct, less steep hills going back to the old part of the city. The room has a fridge, kettle and a great shower. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There is a cafe just around the corner and is open 7 days for breakfast and Coffee and an egg tapas is around 1.80 euros. There is also a grocery store very close which is open Monday thru Saturday. The restaurant attached to the hotel is busy so advise reservations. There is no aircon but fans are available. Would have liked a small terrace but no problem as did not spend that much time in the room. 7 to 10 minute walk to the original gate of the old city and from there just explore. Was raining on our last day and Alejandro let us stay on past checkout which was a big help. Will return again.

siamo stati io ed una mia amica in questo albergo il mese di maggio 2023, tutto perfetto accoglienza calorosa, il sig. Aleandro ci ha aiutato molto come spostarci in giro, c'è anche un ristorante dove mangiare, spero di tornare quanto prima, un caro saluto 👋 ad Aleandro la ricordo con affetto.

Lugar restaurado con más de 3 siglos de historia ideal para desconectar de las grandes ciudades. Da la sensación de que estás viviendo en otra época con todas las comodidades actuales. Además, comparte patio con un restaurante excelente.

Tolles kleines Hotel in Santiago - es ist nicht direkt im Zentrum, aber wenn man einen kleinen Berg hochläuft, ist man direkt in der Altstadt. Wer mit dem Bus oder Zug weiterfährt, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Der Bahnhof/Busbahnhof ist in 10Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Zimmer und Bad sind sehr schön, obwohl das Haus über 300 Jahre alt ist, ist alles modern und funktional. Frühstück gibt es nicht im Hotel, aber in der Nähe (5 MIn) gibt mehrere Bar/Kaffee, die ein gutes Frühstück bieten.
