Hotel it self was good enough. Found it to be dated in fixtures & fittings and lacking in hot water, (it was always warm just not hot). Room was spacious enough with two very large single beds, although did order a double. Bathroom had everything you would expect. Plenty of storage in room as well. Breakfast was average, but nothing was kept very hot. Still there was a decent selection.
All in all, everything was alright just not spectacular, which was a bit of a shame as stayed in some very good 4× eurostars hotels before.
Location is about 15mins walk or 5€ in taxi to centre

This hotel is not small in this town. The location is quite convenient, and you can walk to the center. It happened to be a major power outage in Spain, so the hotel provided us with instant noodles.

Unfortunately due to time constraints I was unable to make it to Santiago de Compostela and was unable to stay there. Of course I did not receive a refund. I will be back here next time I am in Madrid.
