El Ensanche Zona Nueva
Yes - the hotel is one of smallest I ever seen. Yes, it's noisy. Yes, you can see some items dated. I have seen more expensive (much more) hotels with smaller rooms, more noisy and in worse condition. Yes. It has some limitations: there is no kitchen, no bar, no other amenities. Because of lack of the kitchen, breakfast is buffet only with no warm food. But everything is fresh i tasty. Don't expect any other meals though. Staff is friendly, nice and helpful. Location is excellent - close to public transport, close to old town, but not too close. Shops just outside and plenty of restaurants around. I would definitively use them again. Just one small thing: while wifi signal is decent, they should think of upgrading their internet connection, offered speeds would be sufficient in 2005, not in 2023. Had to switch to 4G to do anything.

The hotel is about 10 minutes from the Cathedral, you are quickly in the old town or also in Alameda Park. We were here for 2 nights at the end of Jacob's path. We had a room to the indoor courtyard and restaurant terrace. Although the audience was heard there in the evening, but it didn't disturb us, we slept well. We were also traveling all day. Breakfast was good and sufficient. On the last day we eaten lunch from the map there. It was very delicious and pricey completely okay. And it fell there for a short stay. If we were again in Santiago, we would book it again....

Old Town
I had a full apartment that was clean and modern, within 10 minutes walking distance of the cathedral. The woman who checked me in was friendly and helpful. This was excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here a couple days before our Camino hike and upon our completion of the Camino. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated and modern. The two rooms that we stayed in were spacious and had plenty of room to move around. The attic room on the 3rd floor has a beautiful view of the town. The mini fridge was nice to have in the room. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the cathedral, farmers market, cafes, shops, etc. There is a bus from the airport (Bus 6a) that will take you from the airport to a bus stop right around the corner that is a five minute walk from the hotel for 1 Euro. There are also two small shops (one right behind the hotel) within 5 minutes of the hotel where you can grab water, soda, snacks, fruit, etc. A pharmacy is also right around the corner near the bus stop. The staff was quick to answer questions via email. Sarah in particular was very helpful and friendly during our stay. She provided restaurant recommendations, directions, and things to see in town. Although the rooms have A/C, the two rooms we were in never completely got really cold. Other than the A/C issue, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
