This hotel has a unique location, which is the biggest plus. You can easily park your rental car at one of the hotel's three private car parks. Rooms ordinary and verging on dated, but clean and good sanitary facilities. Fairly hard mattresses. We took half board because there is not really an alternative for dining in the immediate vicinity. The dinner in the hotel, however, is not much. The cook on duty makes little work of the meager buffet and the offer is disappointing. The first day we even got a 'fixed' menu because there were too few half board residents. In addition, the cook managed to provide spaghetti as an appetizer, followed by a dish with a few dry-fried pork slices. This just doesn't look like anything. The breakfast was fortunately a bit better, but not to spontaneously dance the hornpipe… There is a swimming pool around which it is quite nice to relax. Unfortunately, there is an additional cost for 'renting' a bath towel, just like you have to pay extra in the room for the use of the safe. We paid 150€/night with the 2 of us and then I think those things MUST be included. My conclusion, however beautifully the hotel is set in the area, cannot but be that this is seriously overpriced. I tried but will NOT come back here. Porto Petrol is just around the corner and in the vicinity is a nice Iberostar hotel which is worth its price!
