Beautiful agriturismo located at the bottom of the renowned wine region at Mount Etna. The staff have been very friendly and welcoming. The food and wine is authentic Sicilian cuisine with lots of local dishes. I would recommend a wine tour of the Tenuta’s wine cellar.

The hotel rooms were nice and very roomy, and the surroundings cannot be beat: view of Etna on one side and ocean on the other. Unfortunately we visited in the off-season, and although we tried to contact the hotel beforehand about their restaurant and wine-tasting hours, we did not receive a response and only found out when we arrived that it does not do dinner and wine-tasting later in the afternoon. Would still definitely recommend a stay here though, just be aware of what service they offer before you visit!

We stayed at the hotel for seven nights during our trip in Sicily as we were looking for a convenient location to explore the East coast and be able to relax during down time. The staff were so warm and welcoming, the set menu at night delicious (and a great deal!) and the days by the pool flew by. We would come back here any time, maybe even with extended family or friends as it seems very family friendly. Definitely do the free tour around the factory and the wine tasting with the menu.

The agriturismo San Michele is located in the middle of the vineyards, ideally placed between the sea and Etna. The swimming pool, the exteriors constitute a magnificent setting. Inside, common areas (library with games, small kitchen) practical and comfortable rooms. Note a little vis-à-vis since the bay windows of the rooms overlook for the most part the common corridors outside leading to the swimming pool and breakfast. Restaurant with very good value for money, the buffet was very appreciated.

Calm and relaxing, this Tenuta offers a magnificent view of Etna. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the view of the sea or the volcano from the swimming pool is impressive. A car is essential to explore the area around the site. The only downside is the restaurant, which is not up to par for my taste but may be for others.

Strategic and suggestive location, with Etna as the main protagonist! Large and decent room, convenient to have a lot of outdoor space. The staff dedicated to the rooms very helpful and ready to joke. Even the waitress who assisted us during breakfast was always very helpful and precise. The rest of the staff (a lot) that we met during the stay, or who simply passed by our table I did not find particularly friendly, something that having traveled far and wide in Sicily for a long time, left me truly incredulous.
