Hotel Riviera

This has to be the worst experience I've had in Spain to date (5th visit in 18mnths) not to Santa Susanna!! The whole experience was less than satisfactory, it was disheartening and very, very disappointing! Upon arrival 11:30pm we discovered the room was NOT Superior as advertised (barely basic) missing basic facilities (kettle) no option to loan/rent from reception. We was advised by reception bar closes at midnight so I entered the bar area just for hot water so we could go back to our less than desirable room for a hot drink, only to be snapped at by the bar staff to "close the door" x3 times (no language barrier) just extremely rude, disrespectful and disinterested. The bathroom stunk of sewer and we could smell it lay in bed even with the door kept closed! There was a air conditioning unit at the neighbouring hotel right at our balcony/window which was going all day/night. There was not enough food selection and was cold unless eating pizza which is cook in the canteen in view via a chef! Breakfast no fresh anything only went down to utilise coffee machine as no kettle in room or wouldn't have bothered. One reception lady when on shift was helpful (Maia) but allll other staff very unhelpful and just disinterested in their guests needs/requirements. Spa was an additional cost to use even though we are paying guests (unacceptable). Was a blessing we was only there 3 nights had it have been longer we would have contacted our supplier to be moved (it was THAT bad) We would NOT return here for FREE nor would we recommend! Very, very honest review and we don't normally write reviews but other guests need to be made aware. Stay clear!

The staff was very nice, polite and they make us feel very welcomed, especially Aya and I'm sorry to do not remember the others names the staff. The room was very clean and bright, they changed our towels every morning and every day our room was been cleaned. The food was good there was chefs that was cooking some of the food in the room in front of everyone like crepes or pizzas. the location is amazing is close to lots of different shops and to the beach and is also connected well as it's not far from the train station. the swimming pool it's so nice and very big. The only thing that may be revisited is the gym it look very old but overall we had an amazing week!

Nice hotel with great location and food. Very feiendly and helpfull staff. Very close to the beach bars and restaurants. Only kids club and mini disco pretty poor, my kids were a bit disappointed. Other then that i wanna recommend this hotel for couples and familys. Also great with value. Been here second part of September 😉

The staff were very attentive to all our needs and could not be faulted - undertaking their respective duties with friendliness and professionalism. The cuisine available was excellent and the restaurant staff were always available to provide any help required. My two daughters and myself would not hesitate to recommend a stay at this venue.

Location of the hotel is very good, the bath rooms are newly renovated and clean, however the hotel staff is quite rude, the room they offer as premium double room for a higher price, is a single room, very small. Rooms are not equipped with mini bar. Food is ok, but they are not prepared for food allergy. When being in the social areas of the hotels, feels like being in the 80's. Definitely just a 3 star hotel only.

I have stayed at many 4-star hotels over the years and i don't think this is a 4-star hotel, but what it is, is a good 3-star hotel. Found the hotel to be very clean and all staff to be friendly and delt with any minor issues we had. Pool area is a decent size and was pleasantly surprised that the pool is not ice cold, like many others i have come across. Sunbeds were good and plentiful supply. We stayed bed and breakfast and found the food to be of reasonable quality. Drinks were okay and of a reasonable price. Can not comment on evening entertainment, as spent evening out in the resort. All in all, nothing to complain about and would definitely stay here again.
