Hotel Tahití Playa

Old hotel, to bussy at the swimming pool for the amount of guests. Breakfast super basic and bread not fresh. Terrible. I would never book this hotel again! The only good thing is the view we had!

This is second time staying at hotel. First time was as a couple end of month October 2022. We loved was very quiet. food really good weather great lots to do so booked for family start of October 2023. Definitely hotter start of October most days 27 degrees. Staff very friendly. Always happy help We stayed half board breakfast always good variety. Dinner the same always different meats being cooked on hot plate. If you are British and used too buffet restaurants. Then you will be happy. Do not understand negative reviews as this a great hotel with lots to do nearby. High praise for staff at pool bar where we had lunch most days. Especially the little woman who made me coffee everyday and ice cream clowns for kids. Only thing we were bit stressed about was transfer when picking us up at end of holiday was a bit confusing but that’s nothing to do with hotel. If your a family or couple looking for nice cheap quite holiday Come here 👍

Here now with my granddaughter & struggling quite a lot. Just wanted a relaxing break by a pool, but not enough sun beds at all & you cannot leave them unattended for more than an hour (or your belongings get scooped up & thrown in a pile by the DJ booth - my book & magazine have been totally ruined by our wet towels). It’s ok if there’s a group of you because one person in the group can stay watch while the rest go have lunch/swim (like we tried to to)…not the relaxing break I hoped for or expected for the cost…gutted (foods ok, location is decent, evening entertainment is better then expected…

I don't understand why is this hotel rated that good...there are several things which are not compatible with an 4 star resort: restaurant is undersized...each evening one has to wait from 20 to 60 minutes to enter the restaurant and have dinner. The pool area is undersized and misses a lot of umbrellas...if one tries to reserve sunbeds,some hotel security comes and removes the towels or whatever personal items one left on the sunbeds...so,people are bound to stay on the sunbeds most of the time if they want to have sunbeds to use...on the other side,if you go the beach in front of the hotel,2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella cost 24 eur per day...the hotel reserves special space for the tourists using the vip rooms...those have special areas where sunbeds and umbrellas are available only for them...and those are not undersized...the romms doesn't have net against insects at the exit door to the balcony...therefore,one can experience a lot of mosquitos...the bathrooms doesn't have a serious bad air evacuation system..therefore,when one uses the bathroom,the bad smell gets evacuated in the room...each and every night there are drunk people on the beach in front of the hotel making noise until 4 oçlock in the morning...difficult to sleep with the door open....in conclusion...while the places are beatifull...this is not a place where I would return..

Excellent hotel with everything you could need. Great location on the beach - with amazing pool and brilliant small pool for children. The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful and lots of pool games and entertainment if you wanted to join in. Rooms, pool areas, restaurants were all very clean. Restaurant had excellent variety of well cooked, fresh food (great choices for breakfast) Appreciated the policy of not allowing towels to be thrown on sun beds-really fair for all! Very impressed.

My mom and I stayed here for one week, and had a really great time. The Hotel is huge, and located with a beautiful view over the beach. The pool area was the best. It was so big, cozy with palm trees, a huge pool with a bridge over it, bubble bath, and a one kids section. There were a lot of sunbeds, but only a few of them got sun from the morning, so we had to pick and lay down on our sunbeds at 08.00. DONT try and reserve sunbeds before 09.00, somebody will come and remove the towels. The hotel was clean, and there are so many activities, both at day and at night. Something for everyone. The breakfast was nothing much, a little to pick from and unflavored and dry food, so we did not end up eating much for breakfast. Over all a nice experience

Thankfully only booked breakfast, unfortunately out of the 6 days we didn't have one hot breakfast apart from fried eggs which were constantly being cooked, therefore had continental breakfast. Drinks from machine were poor quality, again not very hot, attempted several times, in the end settled for juice. Entertainment poor, area entertainment was not designed to be a fun relaxing area for entertainment, therefore made the most of other hotels in area. On two occasions, went back to our room to find the cleaner had not closed door, and replenish toilet rolls without being asked. Therefore, in view of the above, wont be returning to this hotel.

They are more focused in business than customer care. The food at restaurant i couldn't recommend. Just the breakfast is something acceptable, but not as level of 4 stars superior hotel. They are for parking around hotel does not exist, and the number of park places inside hotel facility is pretty short. As they are always full of people, the customer attention is really poor.

The good thing about this hotel is the location by the beach, outdoor pool areas are large and kids club and playground are nice. However, big disappointed was seeing that mini disco is only 2 days a week, friday and saturday, there is nothing for kids to do after 4 pm, most of the families with children were going outside the hotel for entertainment. I had no ideea about this aspect when booking the hotel, as the description of kids facilities is very generous on all booking platforms. The kids restaurant was a small area at the back of the main restaurant and was always closed during our stay. Food was raw cooked sometimes, looked like restaurant was always understaffed and overwhelmed. We had a full board package and had to pay for drinks after lunch and dinner every-time, we were expecting to have the bill posted on our room and pay at departure but was not the case. The host of the restaurant was rude and did not explained from the beginning that we are expected to pay each time, second time we went to the restaurant he screamed that we left and didn’t pay in front of everyone.Personally, I haven’t seen this in any other hotel I stayed, however it would have been ok to be informed at check in or prior going in the restaurant. Adults entertainment was tailored for elderly guest, who are predominant in the hotel. We didn’t come with high expectations but was hopping to find all the things they advertise when booking.
