I’m going to be as fair as I can be but I was extremely disappointed considering this is classed as a 4 star hotel. I’ll start on a positive. The location is great 10 minutes walk to the beach, nice ***** of shops and restaurants. The reception area is clean and welcoming the lounge area is nice and relaxing and clean. Rooms are very small and basic, some rooms have very old TVs some newer, no tea and Coffee refill offered through the week in my room. No extra blankets or pillows in the wardrobe so on arriving late the first night I was freezing and the heating wasn’t working. I asked reception for extra blankets the next day. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful but no one offered any information about what was available or on offer in the hotel, ie the indoor pool, (which you have to give 20 euro deposit for towels) or what activities are available and where to find out information. The food was absolutely awful Breakfast was ok but everything on the hot plate is cold. Best option is freshly cooked omelette because at least it’s hot. Dinner was even worse, cold food, no clear labels most nights so you’re playing a guessing game. Some salad bowls pre prepared were clearly more than a day old and not freshly prepared with wilting bad salad leaves which is disgraceful. I’m vegetarian there was a dish labelled baked aubergine covered in cheese I assumed it was veggie but when I took a bite it had meat in it, so not good. The paella had meat in it and wasn’t clearly labelled as having meat in. My daughter was starving the whole week so even though I paid for half board I had to spend more money on dinner for her every night. The pool and area is clean and the aqua aerobics lady was great 👍🏽 Unfortunately I wouldn’t return.

This is a nice hotel with ok rooms, nice personel and clean facilities. Location is good in a nice street. Close to the sea. Breakfast is overwhelming and there are lots of «pros» here. So, to rate it 2/5 there must be som «cons» dragging it down. A few minor things have to be mentioned: - Poor wifi: for a family of five, with two teenagers, having poor connection to the wifi is a turn-off and source for arguments you dont want. - Broken fridge: Dont know why. It was fixed on day three when we had an evaluation-mail that i answered. - Small pool and crowded pool-area. Might be because we are guests in the heaviest touristseason, but still… But the real turn-off is the entertainment in the evenings. Me and my family are probably not targetguests for this hotel - but anyone considering staying here should be warned. We have had four nights being bombed by loud music from 20:00 to 23:30. How loud? So loud we can not enjoy the lovely afternoons on the balcony. It is not possible to have a conversation with my wife. Shes actually walking around with airpods and noisecancellation activated. Inside the room, instead of outside in the lovely mediterranian breeze. They are bombing us with noise here!! Of course; i understand i am the person in the wrong context here. The other guests love it. Clapping their hands, sitting in their chairs down on the floor. Ordering some drinks and having the time of their lives. I will not take that from them. We have different taste and i am the one who didnt do a good enough background-check. I dont mind music. I would just have hoped they didnt play so bloody loud, with all this anoying screaming, for all these hours. For christ sake, just put on the breaks a little while…you’re killing me here…

It's the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. I travel a lot and I know a lot of hotels everywhere in the world. The management makes a lot of promises with their "happiness department" supposed to produce a quality service and respond immediately... But these are only commercial words without effect. The customer service is a joke. Front desk staff is non-existent and so unfriendly that you don't want to ask him questions. What I tried to do, with approximate answers when there were... You have to be resourceful to find information. I sent an email to the "happiness department" following a concern experienced the morning of the first night in this place. To this day, still no response from happiness blabla... attached is the email explaining the problem: "hello, I am currently a guest in your hotel for 3 nights stay. I could have stayed more but given how customers are treated, it will stop after these three days. As a routine, I get up early in the morning to exercise. This morning I decided to go swimming in the outdoor pool since the indoor pool only opens at 9am. When I reached the outdoor swimming pool at -1 level, the door opened without using my card. I changed and started swimming. After a minute a hotel employee clapped his hands and yelled at me that the pool was closed and wouldn't open until 8am. I travel a lot, I spend my life in hotels, all over the world. I am very respectful to the rules of hotels. I have never been received treated in such manner. So I got out of the pool and the employee in question showed me the exit. If this gentleman can be blamed for his rudeness towards a hotel guest, I personally mostly blame your hotel for the lack of information that put me in this very unpleasant situation. In the room, no information on anything from the hotel, not even a QR code. In the elevators, no information regarding opening and closing hours. On the automatic door of the outdoor swimming pool, level -1, NO information neither! Unable to find any information, I simply headed through that door, which opened, I repeat, without the use of my keycard. The way this hotel is run seems to be very rough. Therefore, I would strongly recommend to put all relevant informations in the rooms, on the doors, in the elevators and make sure that your employees do not dump customers in an unpleasant way. I forgot, there was a paper in the room. "Bienvenido a la casa" written on it... What a joke... I would never come here if I knew before hand. First and last time here and at your hotel chain. Be sure that I will report it on the dedicated social networks." So, still no answer. I explained the problem to the Frontdesk staff, everything seemed to be normal for her... she didn't try to take my room number or my name... she said a little sorry in the sense of " I do not care"... Finally, -The air conditioning did not work properly. -it takes 10 euros deposit to have a towel. -WiFi is limited to 1 connection (or 2...

The first review I’ve ever written and because this deserved a 5* review. I went with my 11 year son not knowing what to expect in terms of ‘kids activities’ etc but this ticked every box! The rooms were a good standard and clean. We were given a room with a sea view that we hadn’t paid for but requested. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We went B&B- the breakfasts were excellent with a superb range of foods to please anyone. But what made our stay so good was the enthusiasm and encouragement of the animation team. If you get involved, you live the games irrespective of how simple they may appear. Also, entertainment every night! Thanks to the hotel for facilitating a 5* holiday, sir Ian mention to Kevin, Elia, and Julia! We will return!

The Indalo Park hotel is very big and very busy during August. The hotel itself is situated at the intersection of the man made promenade of Santa Susana and the start of the '*****' into Malgrat de Mar. Check in was reasonably smooth although the reception staff lacked any friendly welcome which was a shame. We paid for a corner suite and was allocated room 504 with a corner balcony suite overlooking the pool and the sea. The corner suites are the most expensive rooms on offer. The room itself was clean and modern although there is a strange glass viewing area from the main bedroom into the shower and toilet which makes travelling with a family interesting. They would have been better going with traditional doors for improved privacy. The air conditioning worked very well, if anything it was colder than what was displayed on the LCD screen. The shower was powerful and the toilet had some interesting features to keep your bits clean and dry!! The entertainment at the hotel is very loud and very late. Lots of Dutch songs and music, if that's your thing. Starts early too. Five floors up this was still very loud and you would have no chance of avoiding on the lower floors. The windows have very poor soundproofing and the noise is really intrusive. After two nights of noise past 1am we moved to room 505 to escape the entertainment and also the noise of the hotel residents in the (outside) bar till the small hours. On the other side of the hotel, the surrounding hotels are also blasting out very loud music meaning no escape until around 1am. You can then expect younger tourists shouting and behaving badly in the streets below until 4-5am meaning no restful nights sleep. Also the tourist coaches collect from the street below which are also very noisy. After two weeks of disrupted sleep we were all shattered and looking forward to escaping the noise. Earplugs are a must! The pool is ok, not very deep and pretty crowded. Inflatables are not allowed. The sun loungers in the main pool area are mostly reserved via towels by 9am but there are no crazy sunbed wars here. The garden area is a bit more laid back and you can get a sunbed until around 1030 most days. The animation team do a good job in keeping the adults busy with various games. They are enthusiastic and loud staff members, they will go around to residents and ask them to get involved, which you may or may not like. There is a towel service whereby you pay €10 per towel refundable deposit. You can change the towels as often as you like. The food in the hotel is the main let down here. The dining room was very busy and you are allocated a 7pm or 8pm evening dinner slot. But most of the residents seemingly wanted to be in the dining room at opening time (1900). Queues for food stations were large and slow. Past 8pm a lot of the food has gone and isn’t replenished. The food on offer at dinner time is bland, repetitive, lacks imagination or common sense. For example one evening burgers

We really enjoyed the hotel. The rooms were great and clean but the music of the evening program is deafening loud. Its fun if you like the program but we actually had to leave the hotel several evenings to escape the blasting music. On one evening where we liked the music and stayed, it was impossible to get something to drink. Waiters were running up and down the middle area but completely forgot about the side tables. At some point, maybe 30 mins later, I got up to order directly from the bar, where they did not serve me because they said outside is table service only ....funny, as that worked so well ..... i was asked where we were sitting, so someone will be with us shortly but that did not happen and after about another half hour we simply left the hotel to finally get a drink. I know August is a busy time but not getting a drink for an hour is not my ideal holiday.

This hotel was amazing. It was spotlessly clean, the staff were brilliant and went above and beyond. The food was excellent and there was a huge choice for even us fussy eaters. Shout out to Steven, the night guy on reception. We had an early check out and he even offered to make us tea while we waited for our taxi. Well done to all management and staff

Honest review. Hotel reply will deviate to protect their business. 1. Mid of May and beginning of June-the hotel is very-very busy, predominately occupied by Irish people with the amplified music during the day and late evenings. May not suits everyone. Three families from UK, Holland & Germany arrived at evening entertainment on 31/05/2023 and being told: “Irish only, you are not allowed”. Reception been politely informed. 2. “Idalo Boulevard restaurant”: few times the wrong orders, despite pointing on menu, due to a language barrier. At 20:00-23:45 - very loud amplified live music – you will be unable to sleep in your room, even with deeply inserted ear plugs. Located 50 meters away and right opposite the hotel rooms. For 7 days -not suits everyone. Smell of ****, shouting, etc., as people are enjoying the live music, alcohol. May not suits everyone. 3. Staff is very friendly, especially reception girls (not Pere-with the answer “No” to any questions). Very friendly, polite, smiley, helpful ladies- Katya, Lithuanian lady, Dunya and all restaurant and reception staff. 4. We have purchased a bottle of Spanish wine to taste from the store next door, but bar staff and Pere categorically refused to borough (10 sec) the corkscrew opener. Not the issue-we have purchased one next door. 5. The room 505 was full of ants (food, fruits free). Requested the chemical treatment. Room floor never been cleaned for 7 days. Photos are demonstrated to the reception staff on two occasions, but no avail. One occasion-the towels not been changed. 3 x requests over the phone and in person at reception-towels been replaced at 23:15 (!) on 02/06/2023. 6. Room 505 (Junior suite superior sea view) located right next to a busy road and T-junction, the busses with loud engines and noisy air-conditioning units, located on the roof, parked outside with, cars-using horns, bikes will be affecting your night (echo between two closely located hotels). Hotel was packed and no other (quieter rooms) were available for 3 days. 4th day – hotel offered to check the other rooms, but as all located opposite amplified live music area – there will be a minimal difference. The train line, 100m away-room windows are not blocking the noise. Road below Torrento de Can Gelat is also affected but drunk, loud groups of people, passing by. Sea view-partial between three buildings, located on the seaside 1st line. 7. Our children took some fruits from the hotel internal restaurant following breakfast to eat outside – but been told to leave everything there. Which is a bit upsetting. 8. Rooms are very modern and stylish, insulation isn’t great – all street and amplified music noise will be inside the room. The slightly tinted glass walls between the toilet, bath and the bedroom are suitable for newly wed couple, may not for a family, where you can see through and hear everything. 9. Parking is 10euro, compared to a worse hotel opposite –“Tahiti Playa”, where 25 euro per night (second trip to “Tahi
