We recently stayed at Hotel E and I recommend it most highly. It’s a beautiful space with old world charm plus all the updates of the modern age. Entry, lobby, hallways and rooms are a beautiful, serene décor in light earth tones and spotlessly clean. The lobby bar is most enjoyable especially when something fun is going on across the small lane in Courthouse Square and Park. Rooms are on the small side but ours was perfect for a couple + a dog, which they accept for a small fee. And with the park across the street, there is no problem getting a non-leash-pooping dog to do his business. Take your pick-up bags, there are plenty of trash receptacles. The location is amazing with dozens of restaurants at your doorstep and less than a mile from the hospital which was the reason we were there. However, above all this loveliness is the amazing staff. Carmen and Tiffany are two standouts who did everything possible to go above and beyond expectations, including ensuring our car would be at the front door at 5:15am! I am Guest Services Director for a boutique hotel in Eureka California and if any of the staff would like to relocate, I’d hire them in a heartbeat! Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hotel E when you visit Santa Rosa, or hell, if you live there, go for a night of dining out and the Wednesday Night Market and Music on the Square.

We rented the King Suite with jetted tub. The room was one of the most spacious rooms we've ever stayed in, it made us feel like we were in an apartment. The room was neat and clean, and seemed well taken care of. Staff was friendly and efficient, check-in and check-out was fast and convenient. The breakfast room was well stocked, clean, and very pleasant to eat breakfast. This will be our go to hotel in Sonoma County from now on.

Dozens of Sonoma County’s excellent wineries can be found within 20 minutes of our hotel or stop by our on-site bar for a local glass. It was my pleasure to stay at the Hampton Inn Santa Rosa for the first time for one night March 27-28, 2024. A positive experience I hope to repeat. Compared to other Hampton Inns (and other hotels for that matter), I found two features of this property above average. First, the Fitness Center featured recently updated equipment including two ellipticals, two treadmills, stationary bicycles, and a rowing machine, and was thoughtfully stocked with towels and water. Second, the self-serve breakfast featured a variety of fresh whole fruits, cereals and breads, and hot fare including delicious scrambled eggs. My tastefully updated bathroom featured a strong hot shower and the rare ceiling exhaust fan. The only negative I noted: an overly skinny lineup of TV channels. The system mostly drove users to subscription-based streaming services. Such a shame to have such a nice large TV in the room but so few choices of channels to watch.

Really, really liked this place. The staff are just lovely and managed to organise an early check-in and sorted out the rooms so that we could have one twin and one double. We were given so much information re where to go / what to do etc. Both of the rooms were lovely - clean and comfortable (although one bed did squeak a lot); the breakfast is good; the swimming pool area is lovely and gets lots of sun; parking is very easy and there is plenty of it. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here one night after going to the Charles Schultz Museum. We were warmly welcomed and given room 320, a very quiet room with two queen beds. Linens and towels were very nice. Lighting very good in bathroom. Breakfast had good selections. Bed is high for me and I would have liked the room darker. The microwave light was bright! Bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Came out for a weekend for wine tasting, shopping, and dining. We typically stay in/near Healdsburg but there weren't a lot of options that weekend so we were lucky to find the Hampton Inn & Suites-Windsor. The hotel is centrally located and we could easily get to Healdsburg, Geyersville, and Calistoga which was a huge plus. The rooms were up-to-date, clean, and had the typical amenities. Happy to see that the pool was open until 10 pm and was heated - we definitely got a lot of use out of it.

Ggushanshan_1103Booked here last minute when we were not able to stay with family as planned. All the staff were extremely helpful and empathetic - we ended up really enjoying our stay here, even though it started as an emergency back-up plan. After a 12 hour flight and 2+ hour bus ride from SFO, the hotel shuttle picked us up at Sonoma Cty airport (driver Carlos was prompt and helpful with the bags). We were greeted at the front desk by Sandra and would like to praise her for her empathy and care. We were very tired and stressed out and she made us feel calm and welcome. The manager Erin was also extra helpful during our stay, asking if there was anything she could do to help us out. Our 3rd floor room was quiet and spacious. Although the decor is a little bit dated, everything was very clean and well-maintained. We slept well and were very comfortable. The hotel restaurant offered a nice breakfast (thanks also to the attentive breakfast attendant and friendly chef who were pleasant even at 6:30am), with either a buffet or cooked-to-order options. The food was above our expectations and there was plenty to choose from. They also offer lunch, dinner and drinks which is handy as there is not too much in the immediate area. There's also a convenience shop on premises for snacks as well as a free coffee/tea station. The area is quiet (office park and movie theater next door) and we didn't hear any noise from the airport. The free parking is well-lit and directly in front of the hotel. We didn't have a car for the first couple of days, but were able to get into downtown Santa Rosa using the SMART train. The station is only about 10 mins walk away and it's very cheap and convenient to get to Santa Rosa or Petaluma among other places. We really appreciated being able to get around without a car and were happy to have SMART as an option. Other plus points at this hotel are the well-equipped business center with printers, which helped us with the reorganization of our disrupted trip. There's also an indoor pool and a small but nice gym. It's really a full service hotel with everything you need. I would definitely stay here again. Finally, I really would like to once again commend the staff - everyone we dealt with at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. We really appreciated this!! Thanks and keep up the good work!
We booked a vineyard view room at a higher price, but when I checked in and went to my room it didn’t have one. I phoned the front desk and was told they upgraded my room, but this room had a lot of issues. One, it was not far from the pool which is under construction and there was constant beeping from heavy equipment. Other issues were that the AC didn’t work; I set it to 68 (it would not set lower) and the temperature of the room never went below 72. Furniture was dated and the top of the bench in front of the bed was peeling. The coffee maker didn’t work and one of the lights in the bathroom was out. Also, they charge a $45 resort fee and the pool wasn’t even available. The staff was nice, but $650 a night for this was way too high. I like the area, but will look for a better place next time we visit.
MmariekgVery friendly staff, allocating us a quieter room to recuperate from 30 hours in planes and transit – without us even asking for it! The room itself was large and very comfortable. I had seen pictures on the web with the sink in the room instead of in the bathroom – which seemed odd!? But it worked very well … Pleasant breakfast the next morning. Good location, easily within walking distance of the centre with many food options.
Visiting family and wanted to stay in Sonoma. Everything was so expensive, I found this BW in Santa Rosa. I used points to get a cheaper rate. Joel looks like it was a very nice motel back in the day. Larger than expected. Our room was in the back, and was clean and updated. It was fine for our overnight stay. Room had a smell when we walked in and had to open slider for fresh air. We discovered a little potion that overlooks pool. I was disappointed we hadn’t arrived earlier so we could sit out there. There were two lotion bottles, and one was half empty. Must of been left from previous guest. That kind of upset my husband.
RRebecca HMy daughter and I were on a girls trip. We were going to Occidental for the event, but I wanted to stay somewhere that I could meet college friends easily as well. Found the Sandman and originally booked because we generally like boutique hotels! When I booked back in March of 2024, breakfast was included. Get to the hotel and find out that it no longer is. Guests have to purchase a $10 per person, per morning voucher for breakfast. I know it is extra effort, but it would have been courteous of the hotel to notify guests that booked prior to it being canceled. We also tried to enjoy the pool and hot tub but it was packed. We were able to get in and tried to relax a bit in the hot tub. Kids were in there shooting each other with water guns! I know the hotel has no control over what parents do, but some of the things happening at the pool just seemed very unsafe. The rooms were nice, but definitely not what was paid.
MMichael PI reserved a room at North Bay Inn, 1875 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA, US, 95401 for two nights; October 25 and October 26, 2019. Because of the Kincaid Fire, the airport was closed and my flight from Santa Rosa to Los Angeles was canceled both on October 27 and October 28. I had to request another night's lodging from the management of North Bay Inn. When I requested another night, I was shocked by the rude, inappropriate and incredibly angry response I received from the manager, an Asian Indian woman who would not give me her name. American Airlines called me at 9 AM to inform me of my flight cancelation. I immediately called the manager at 9:15 AM to request another night's stay. This horribly rude woman demanded that I present myself within 15 minutes to the office to surrender my room. I told her that I need some time to pack and dress and requested 30 minutes. She shouted that she had a party of five that needed my room in 30 minutes and if I wasn't out I would not be able to get another room. When I went to the office, she continued to shout at me that she had not had any sleep because of the Kincaid Fire and the owner of the inn was on the phone with her throughout the night. I responded in a calm tone that if she talked to her other guests the way she was talking to me, it was no wonder the manager kept her up all night, as I was sure a number of guests would have complained about her rude, nasty behavior. She denied being rude or shouting as she continued to shout at me. I said okay may I please have another room. She shouted again that I would have to pay ”extra”, even though the room was smaller than the one in which I had stayed the two previous nights. When I asked why the room was so expensive, she again shouted that it was all she had and I had to take it or leave. She rudely said, ”Do you want the room or not? If you don't, get out, we're busy.” I reluctantly took the room. Because of the shabby way I was treated, I assure you that I will never stay in this hotel or in any hotel operated by the owners of this establishment ever again. It is my hope that these unworthy innkeepers will lose business until the manager is replaced by a stable, professional, customer serving individual. As a post note, when my taxi arrived at the hotel to pick me up, this crazed women came running out of the office to demand what he was doing there? I ask you, since when is it strange to see a taxi enter a hotel parking lot? The woman is deranged.
AAnonymous UserShout out to Berlin at the front desk. Every time I came back or left for the day, she always acknowledged me by my name and was always super friendly and helpful. Convenient location right off the freeway, next to Kaiser and close to a lot of wineries. This is a great place if you’re traveling with family. Spacious rooms, small, kitchenette, complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking. They have laundry onsite as well.
