We arrived at past midnight to meet an elderly receptionist who refused to let my 7yr old stay. For almost an hour we were stuck at reception. Tired and now stressed. They then insisted on holding my daughter’s passport ( as though we would pay to stay in a hotel for four nights and run away after one night). That act alone was INSULTING!. First thing in the morning they kept calling to ask for an extra €48 to let my kid stay. Please note that on the trip.com site it says kids under 12 stay for free and the room was large enough for two adults and a child. There was a sofa bed. Clearly this €48 was more important to them than courtesy. There were better ways to handle this. The money was paid by me. I was very very displeased.

The hotel is very good. The family room is very large. There is a sofa bed or even a double bed. The ventilation is not very good and the air conditioning is not very good. It is very hot.

The hotel is located in the beautiful district of Santa Ponsa - mountains, greenery, sea. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony. Quiet area (you can sleep at night). The hotel has two swimming pools - one for adults and one for children, and there is animation. You can walk to the beach in 15-17 minutes. There are shops and cafes nearby. Of the minuses: no coffee machine 🥲 Payment on site/in cafes only by card. The bed linen smelled damp. If you leave the room, the refrigerator stops working (so ask for a second magnetic card, otherwise the food in the refrigerator will spoil).

Myself, partner and 3 young children stayed for 7 nights. We stayed in a 1bedroom apartment, very spacious, plenty room for the 5 of us. The hotel overall was very clean, staff were friendly, food was good. Plenty sunbeds around the kids pool. Hotel was not over crowded, perfect for families. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the square. A good small selection of restaurants, didn't have a bad meal. Around 15min walk to santa ponsa beach, lots of cafes/bars/shops on route. We really enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 10 nights in June, 2 adults and 3 children, we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment, plenty of space and a big double balcony overlooking the kids pool, spotless cleaned every day with fresh towels. No struggle for sun beds on a morning. All of the staff friendly and helpful, booked an excursion at the reception with no issues. Food and drinks were lovely at the snack bar. 5 min walk to ‘the square’ with restaurants and bars. Further 15 min walk to the beach and Santa ponsa with a bit more to choose from. Massive thank you to the children entertainment staff, especially Andre who made our holiday so special! So kind and patient with the kids and just a lovely person. A holiday we will never forget. Would love to return.

We stayed here for a week our room was on the fifth floor so good views,all staff very friendly our room was fine and nice comfy bed,only thing i would say about the room is there is not enough draw space only one wardrobe.Was quite difficult to get sunbeds as most were taken and the usual towel issue more sunbeds at toddlers pool if you dont mind the noise.ate at the pool bar couple of times food was good.

Fabulous hotel. A welcome from 1st entering reception. Spotlessly clean, well looked after. All staff amazing. 4 mins to Square and that two geriatrics. Bus at end of street into Santa Ponsa saved our legs. Would definitely return. Thanks to all the staff .

This hotel was a lovely clean and calm environment, it had everything you need. There was a shop right outside along with other little bars and restaurant, only a 10 minute walk into town or to the beach it had everything you needed. The best thing about it was Christina on reception. We booked in last minute after a mix up with flights and she was so kind and accommodate, always a pleasure to see her every day and nothing was too much trouble, she made the whole experience at this hotel smooth and enjoyable.

Perfect hotel. 1 bedroom apartment generous size. 2x single beds and 2 x sofa beds so everyone happy bed to themselves. Free and fast WiFi. Pools were great and always got a sunbed no issues at all. Only thing is pool closes at 6pm which wasn't ideal especially when sun is still shining. Hotel is quiet after 6pm no evening entertainment but we always went out. Recommend Barcode 7 for the kids. Handy shortcut thru the kids pool area. Would mostly definitely stay here again. All staff friendly.

My partner and I stayed for 9 nights. Our first morning in our room i went to use the shower, only to pull back the door and find a used razor on the floor from the bathroom obviously not being cleaned. I then made reception aware of how disappointed i was only to be met with an awful attitude from the night receptionist. He basically argued with me and told me it was nothing to do with him and so he would pass the message on. The next morning (day 2 of stay) we received an apology from reception, and the promise that the bathroom would be cleaned immediately. The razor was still there on our last night untouched. Our entire stay we only recieved 1 roll of toilet paper from housekeeping, and our eircon didnt work either. The amount of trips made down to reception throughout our stay was laughable. The attitude, cleanliness and facilities were very disappointing to say the least. Absolutely would not recommend this stay unfortunately.

Set way up in the hills! Resort is clean and well kept.. however.. the bar closes at 7pm, there is no evening entertainment and certainly no life around the resort at all. Really not suitable if you don't have children and certainly not suitable for if you have any mobility issues! Measuring using my Apple Watch , it's approx 1km to the heart of Santa Ponsa! If you are looking a vibrant, lively resort, this is not it! Plenty of sunbed availability though! In terms of location and staff attitude (apart from the female manager) one of the poorest resorts I have stayed in! Heading back to SP this week and have booked another Globales.. here's hoping it's better!

Just back from Globales Costa de la Calma. I cannot fault the place, Small, safe for kids, really clean, very professional, helpful & kind staff. Our studio apartment was great, had everything we needed, the bed was really comfortable, all fittings were high quality & clean. A big thank you to Andre the kids entertainer & Christian the lifeguard for being so kind to my son. I would go back again.
