Great location for the hotel as right on the beach and easy access to all areas to visit. The hotel is clean but very dated although I believe they are working on that. The breakfast was substantial, enough of a choice and very relaxed. Two points of disappointment were no beach beds (even to hire) and no courtesy room to use after checking out and before a later flight home. The chill out bar was lovely though as was the bar on Floor 5, with great views and plenty of comfy seats.

Lovely sea facing dated but comfortable and clean room. Unfortunately there was a bikers convention held here not made aware of this annual event that spoiled our stay. So avoid this few days at all costs. The roof top bar has spectacular views.

A hotel lost in time! A mausoleum ! The hotel is very dated, there is a smell of toilets throughout the building. Our room when we arrived had no safe, reception said there is one in the wardrobe . There wasn’t one, a technician arrived and was surprised there wasn’t one, he quickly found one and fitted it. The patio door was in a very poor condition , difficult to open and close due to poor maintenance . Also it had now way of locking and the rubber glass seals were falling out. The shower had no bracket to hold the shower rose. The major problem with the room was a total lack of sound proofing, you could hear everything your neighbours were up to, I mean everything. If you read other reviews you will see this is very common complaint to which the hotel admits is a problem and says it plans to improve the sound proofing . This needs to be done as a priority! The prices in the bar have risen since January on our last visit, a pint of beer that can be bought in the surrounding bars for 4€ has gone up from 4.5€ to 6€! We ordered two Larios and tonics and were charged 20€, the gin hardly made the glass wet, never seen such a small measure even in the uk! We asked reception why the increase , the reply was to make it more exclusive and to keep the riffraff out. The exterior of this ancient hotel has a banner up regarding Riccardo’s restaurant , as far as I can find this hasn’t been open since2020

The hotel as wonderful staff And if you get a sea view room the views are great Sadly the hotel is very run down And the rooms are basic we paid for a superior room No fridge or tea making facilities We did manage to get a fridge as it was needed to keep medication in And William was brilliant he got us a kettle And 2 sun beds to sit out on Also our cleaner Lilla was fantastic They are a real asset to the hotel The downside one of the cleaners turned the electric we were out for the day so unfortunately the medication had to be replaced very difficult to do and expensive Just received a basic apology The superior rooms are not worth the price Cold and bathroom very small and old Breakfast is very basic hot food is cold Scrambled eggs and hot dog sausage You are not allowed to take food or drink into your rooms notices all over and in your room There is a bar upstairs that opens for a short time in the evening serving food left over from the cafe But expensive for what you can get Sadly we will not be returning Poor value for the price 😞

I booked this though wowcher mystery holiday for 2 people. I didn't really expect much as the hotel was 3 star. Me and my friend stayed for 2 nights and when we arrived on Monday 20th at 9am reception didn't mention breakfast was still being served so we missed out on that. The room was clean and tidy. Clean towels. There was no heating on Monday it was so cold at night also the light outside room was broken and didn't turn off all night. Tuesday was power is off between 11-5pm as they was fixing something. Lucky we was headed out. The breakfast on day 2 was good lots of choice. The view from 5 floor is great sea view. Staff speak English on reception and very helpful if you need taxi or anything they will even draw u a map and recommend where to eat. Over all you literally right on the beach and plenty of restaurants around to eat at. Good value for a few nights.

Breakfast was very good and varied . The vintage Bar on fifth was amazing with 360 degrees vistas was amazing . All in all ,we loved it and are planning to visit in january this time for 10 days !

Waited 35 mins for toastada ( cheese and tomato) nothing major that would put kitchen under pressure Staff very pleasant... however when on route to airport time is of the essence and to have 6 or 7 others served before you is not pleasant.. ..

We (hubby and I) booked this hotel. The prices looked very good and it was where we wanted to stay, Santa Pola. There is a small parking lot. We were blocked in the next morning, but nothing to cry over. The rooms are very spacious. The showers were nice as well. They had amneties like small shampoo, gel, a small soap, toilet paper, towels and extra bed linen. AH! And they have bidets ;) We were warmly welcomed by an elderly man at the desk. We came in very late because of our flight. He was very patient and even helped us to open a wine bottle we had. :) There is wifi and air conditioning. We spent the 1st 3 nights in a regular room then later upgraded to a room with a seaview. FANTASTIC decision. Breakfast is included. Bland breakfast, but nice to have it when it's there when one wakes up in the morning right? All that worked in the reception were VERY helpful, pleasant. They became like our temporary 'family' there. Yessica was a great help as well, recommending restaurants for us to visit and places to see. Coming down to her in the mornings was a delight! The hotel is located in lovely area of the city of Santa Pola, close to the beach, restaurants, the fish market, the harbour...you get my point!! The hotel itself needs upgrading/renovating, but does it's job! There was a variety in guests such as norwegians, french, swedes, even spanish. The atmosphere was so homey! I HIGHLY recommend and of course, will stay here again. Thank you ALL for your wonderful service and all you do!! :)
