2-Star Hotels in Santa Monica

I stay at this location fairly often due to business. I've never had a problem with the amenities. The rooms are updated and clean, the hotel staff is very friendly, and Hampton even offers a breakfast service in the morning. This location is also walking distance from the Santa Monica pier and a number restaurants, which adds to the milieu, and makes it easy since parking can be difficult in the area. Valet on site is fast and courteous!

When setting the navigation, you should set it according to the address. By name, the first guide is wrong. It leads to the Santa Monica City Hall. The actual two places are far away. Living here is the next day, half an hour by plane from the airport. It is not far from the beach and the Getty Center. The hotel is really expensive, the room is small, the facilities are average, there are mosquitoes, breakfast and other such breakfasts of Inn, Motel are almost the same, ok. The place to eat breakfast is small. The hotels in Santa Monica are very expensive. This parking is free of charge and is suitable for self-driving.

My experience was very great! This was my first ever solo trip and my first stay at a hostel. The staff was very accommodating and the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and I loved the amenities that you get with the room. For a cheap price you get a lot more than just a dorm. You get things like a outdoor common area, a very nice kitchen, indoor common areas and sometimes events like comedy night, and a free breakfast every morning. This hostel is in a really good location for the area. It’s not too far from the beach and the pier and you’re very close to the public transportation. I met some really cool people at this place traveling from all over and we all hung out and had a good time.

Convenient hotel for visiting LAX. Good rest although a little noise from the traffic. Correct breakfast and friendly staff. Free parking. Highly recommended for tourism.

Such a cute motel, in a great location of Santa Monica! Only issues we had was the noise from other rooms (hearing the upstairs neighbours, or others outside late at night), and the double beds are on the short side - make sure you book a room with queen beds. Everything clean, otherwise comfortable, and a good amount of space.

It looks like it's close to the beach but it's not, because there the streets are very big. Walking is about 45 min. until reaching the beach of Sta. monica The staff very friendly. We arrived before check-in time and they let us keep our bags there (they don't have a specific room and leave them in the dining room). The big room Two double beds and a very spacious toilet with bathtub. We had a visit from a cockroach but the rest, fine. Net. In the room there is a fridge, microwave, alarm clock... and a Bible, in case you need it 😁

This is an excellent hotel, it's not on the sea front, but that easily reachable by bus, and you can walk to the metro. The local environment is great and less touristy than downtown Santa Monica There are shops bars restaurants locally, but I had to walk to them

We stayed at the Bayside Hotel for a little weekend getaway from New York and where welcomed with the upmost friendliness one can expect. We were to early to check in but still were shown room options to ensure we will have the best experience. I believe the agent was George and had Greek roots. The room seemed recently renovated and was very clean. I run a 4 star hotel myself and was impressed by the professionalism and kindness every team member encountered us with. The free bike rental was such a welcomed surprise. Last the location was perfect. Close to the beach plenty of dining options around and easy to access without being in a noisy area. We ended up sleeping with open windows enjoying the ocean view while listening to the waves. Thank you Bayside Team
