I have stayed at the hotel during my business trip to LA, had a good experience, thanks

This is overall not a bad hotel, but it certainly falls short of expectations given the branding and price point. The room was nice enough though sparsely furnished given the size, and a bit awkwardly designed. There’s no coffee or tea service at all, not even a hot water kettle, and plastic cups are just tacky. One morning I woke up and found there was no hot water. Apparently a boiler had failed. I understand problems like this can happen, but there was no follow-up despite the front desk staff saying that once the manager arrived, it would be addressed. When I checked out the next morning, there was no notation in my account. It was proposed that one day’s “destination fee” be waived, which felt trivial; I suggested two and this was begrudgingly accepted. I’ve stayed in many hundreds of hotels over the years and this is only the second time I ever felt justified in requesting some sort of recompense; however, I was made to feel if this was somehow my problem and they weren’t very pleased with having to offer a response. The small restaurant was a highlight, however; the staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was overall quite good. All things considered, I would seek an alternative option in Santa Monica, I’m certain better values exist at either a higher or lower cost.

It was good but far a bit from the peer and they only serve coffee in the morning nothing else and you will pay extra for breakfast.
