Chunu’u is an amazing hostel if you’re looking to get away from tourist/basic hostel culture. This hostel is super conveniently located right beside the village of Minca and the receptionists will assist you with booking any activities. It’s very clean and the amenities are in great condition. There’s a lovely creek you can access from the hostel if you want a morning refresh. Food and bar were definitely great too. Will be returning and recommending to others!

Loved this hostel! It created a more authentic local experience than others hostels I’ve been to. Very conveniently priced and interesting to see a museum inside that is dedicated to indigenous communities and knowledge passed down from generations. Also had a great pool table and access to a small river if you’re ever in need of a cool down! Definitely will be back.

We were for 3 days in this hostel. Everything was wonderfull! De staff was great and friendy and the ambiete is perfect for chill days in a colombian village. You get the feeling, that the hostel is in the middle of a big forest which is invredible and also its next to a river, what we liked a lot

Don't come if you have another choice. We were staying nearby and the restaurant was closed so we came twice. Both times no one was at reception and had to wait to get someone. At the restaurant it took almost a half an hour to get a menu and a lot of the items were unavailable. There are dogs running loose. The second time we never got our drinks nor did they others around us. The chef told us it was open and that she'd get the waiter. The man who was the waiter sat in a hammock for 15 minutes before asking if we wanted, and then continued to be on his phone in the kitchen while we waited an hour with small children. The food was lackluster. The dogs kept begging for food to the point of sitting on our bench next to my 4 year old. At one point they started growling and fighting and no one did anything. We walked up and left. We told the person st reception and she didnt look surprised. We were very grateful we weren't staying here!

I stopped by out of interest, waited a very long time behind the other unthoughtful couple, finally I was acknowledged by the receptionist and she took like 10 minutes seeing if they had availability. The price was astronomical. She was nice though. Other guests were aggressive or super self-absorbed, doing disservice to the surrounding area. Difficult to get to via the quebrada.

Perfect to relax!!! River running by the side of my room, connected with nature - trail are top in Minca. The staff was friendly, food was fantastic and the overall experience was just made to order. Great place to rest and to meet new people.

Nice place but terribly tan. I left my shoes outside drying and they got stolen by a staff member. First I thought they just moved them until days later they were still saying “they can’t find them”. I have CCTV of the caretaker stealing the shoes, unfortunately I can’t upload the video here but below are pictures. Avoid this place, your stuff isn’t safe and they ignore all of your messages. Was I not running for a bus I would have gotten the police involved.
