This is a very individual property with a lot of interesting history. It is in a wonderful location by the river and has a lot of interesting rooms and building features. The dining room in particular has a very grand feel. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed as part of a cycling group, and the location gives great access to a wonderfully attractive area.

We have just spent 2 fabulous nights Quinta da Ermida, it is located right on the river bank of the Douro, and is incredibly quite and peaceful. We had alfresco dining on both evenings and the food was fantastic. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, they are a credit to this establishment. We will definitely return on one of our trips away from the Algarve. A big thank you to all at Quinta da Ermida

Gorgeous location and really friendly and helpful staff. We caught an Uber due to train strikes but we were able to get back to Porto by train. Would definitely recommend this place and loved its peaceful location.

This hotel is charming. It is like going back in time and just a beautiful spot. I would have liked to have stayed for longer and would be a great place to sit back and relax. There was a train station just down the road. The staff were lovely and really made us feel welcome. The dinner and breakfast was superb. The hotel were happy so have to assume they are treated as well as the guests. Lovely to go somewhere where the staff care.

Lugar geograficamente privilegiado, casarão preservado e funcionárias bem simpáticas. Porém, a hospedagem não conta com muitos espaços de lazer para a temporada fora do verão. O preço das refeições feitos por lá, é abusivo, e menu de pouquíssimas opções. Tivemos um imprevisto, e precisamos sair 1 dia antes. Tudo bem que se cobre multa por tal, mas o trato perante a situação, foi de total falta de diálogo e prestatividade para com o cliente. Poderia ser local de muitas outras viagens em família, mas não será.

Ambiente espectacular, cheira a paz! Tudo limpo e organizado. Casa antiga muito bem cuidada e confortável. A vista sobre o Douro é incrível, o som da natureza está por todo o lado. Tem várias atividades disponíveis, uma sala de jogos, campo de futebol/ténis, capela, espaços para piquenique, o espaço da piscina é muito bom. Os funcionários são muito prestáveis e simpáticos, passam durante o dia na piscina para saber se alguém quer beber alguma coisa... Não jantamos na quinta mas pareceu uma atividade bem organizada e agradável. O pequeno almoço é bom, apesar de faltar ovos. Quantos bastante limpos e equipados com ar condicionado/aquecimento.

Es una antigua masía de año 1881, con un encanto muy especial en un entorno espectacular. Nuestra habitación era la numero 8, con una cama muy cómoda y grande. No miramos la tele, porque, en casa tampoco la tenemos por últimos 20 años, mas bien hicimos unos cuantos paseítos por los pueblos en alrededor.

Endroit remarquable rien a dire, par contre les prestations il y a tout a revoir....petit déjeuné restreint, 1 mini croissant 1 petit beurre, une tranche de jambon chacun etc etc ....la chambre, prise cassée, pas d'ampoule miroir salle de bain, clime en panne, pas d'accueils des propriétaires. Pas de parasol a la piscine ni de matelas sur les transats, des Portugais parisien qui s'octroient les transats et veulent tabasser les touristes....NON je n'y reviendrais surement pas, pour ce prix la il y a d'autres Quinta bien plus accueillante.
