The hotel is dated. Some stuff doesn't work very well in the rooms. I had to reset the breakers to get the AC to work. I could only plug in my electronics using a daisy chain of extension cords provided in the room. Would make an electrician (or fire inspector) turn and run. But the staff are great. Friendly, highly competent, and efficient. The location is OK -- about a mile from where the action is in Santa Marinella. The beach is very rocky, but the water itself is some of the best I've ever encountered.

The hotel is on the beach with private beach and sunbeds for free. That is so nice. The beach is with pebbles. The room that we hade was with a nice balcony and it was big. It was for three people but we were only two. The balcony is nice but it needs some touch up. The room and the bathroom was nice and big but also needs a bit of a touch up. The breakfast was nice. Not a big selection but enough and it was nice to sit close to the sea eating your breakfast there. Parking was also free and that was nice.

Just spent 1 wk at hotel del sole and can say it was fantastic. Hotel is a bit dated but spotlessly clean. Free sunbeds, private beach. Staff were all friendly, helpful and really professional. We found the hotel was fantastic location for travelling to Rome on train, 30 minutes also Train Station was only 10 min walk from hotel. Breakfast was delicious, continental selection very fresh. Had lunch each day at hotel very tasty and fresh. Remember to take beach shoes and you'll have an amazing holiday. Can hire paddleboards from hotel. Life guard on duty every day.

We’ve just returned from a really enjoyable week’s stay at hotel del sole. The hotel has so many positives. It is situated right on the beach with comfortable sun beds and umbrellas for all guests. Our rooms were all partial sea view and were a good standard, clean and bright, but the bathrooms could benefit from a refurb. Breakfast is self service and very good with all tables facing the ocean. A great start to each day of our stay. Without hesitation the attitude of all staff is excellent. Staff on reception set the tone of the hotel and despite being full throughout our stay they went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend Hotel del Sole.

Beautiful place to stay. Location perfect. Rooms very comfortable. Great access to private beach. Shower a little tight but ok. Staff very friendly. Very close to bustops which is really the only way to get around. Tacos minimal in Santa Marinella

3-day stay with a family, with a 2-year-old child. The structure is certainly a little dated and in need of modernization, especially in the carpet and furnishings. But being a hotel directly on the sea, I didn't mind, on the contrary!!! Good and plentiful breakfast. Small private beach equipped with pebbles, it's a shame that the sea was sometimes dirty. We also used the bar for some lunch and found the staff always friendly and smiling

Stayed with a family for a week with two 6 year old girls and a 3 month old. A small and welcoming structure that offers everything. The hotel is practically by the sea, with a supermarket, bar, diner and other small shops just a few meters away. The rooms are very nice, clean and well looked after. All the staff are always, I say, ALWAYS with a smile on their faces ready to accommodate every customer request. The beach is pebbly, therefore rock shoes are absolutely essential, the sea is transparent and always clean. The breakfast, served on this terrace overlooking the sea, is varied and plentiful, and it is possible to have lunch at the bar at a more than reasonable price. Places like this don't come around every day. We will definitely be back

I spent 5 days in this hotel and I must say that I had a very good time. The hotel is a 3 star which has its strong point in its location, directly on the sea and with a private beach (service included in the price). The beach is not very large and in very crowded periods it could be a problem, on the other hand the sea is very beautiful, I recommend bringing a mask and fins. I highly recommend the sea view rooms because they are really worth the slight extra charge, I in mine (206) could see the sea even while lying in bed. Side rooms may not be as nice as those with sea views. Our room was functional, equipped with a refrigerator, television and air conditioning. This hotel, with an investment and a bit of renovation work, could become a real gem. All the staff very kind.
