Hotel - Odjo d´Agua

Hotel is in Beutyfull location, the lovely restaurant and the team are everything, the team was beyond to make my stay very special, I really recommend , it is very central location with lots of restaurants around and hotel him self it is big enough to enjoy you holiday to max level

Must admit when we were driving up to the hotel, I was a bit sceptical as the entrance was stuck in a corner, but I was really pleasantly surprised. Lovely, quaint hotel & very clean. The room was a great size & our balcony looked over a grassed courtyard. However the front opened onto the street which could be quite noisy at times. There was also no hot water for the whole of our weeks stay. There were no instructions on how to use the safe & we did ask at reception, but no-one came. Pool & pool bar is really nice, although the salt water pool was freezing. Also the bar wasn't open in the evening. Paying €4 pp for a sunbed each day, even around the pool isn't on really. It should be free! The breakfast staff weren't friendly, but the guys round the pool were. Overall holiday was great though

Went to their waterside side restuarant for dinner and it was truly fabulous. We were lucky to get a table as they were really busy. So glad we did as the food and service were delicious. We had a bottle of local red wine, bread olives and cheese to start and beef mignion in a gorgeous sauce with salad followed by complimentary liquors We were served by Trevor and the singer and pianist added to the ambiance The place is very quirky too

We have previously stayed at this hotel. We returned on a Sunday evening for dinner. The lower terrace overlooks the sea and it’s great to dine hearing the sea water lapping against the walls of the hotel. Food was really excellent and very good value. Totally recommend this hotel fora lovely dinner

Stunning location in the heart of town, this was once a grandish hotel costing more than the all inclusive resorts for B&B. Room was very clean but the gloss has gone. No parasols by small pool in boiling hot heat. Only a couple of sun beds, dirty and a bit broken. Not accessible. Steep slippery steps to breakfast and dining, precarious for anyone with mobility or sight conditions. Even though chefs are on hand for breakfast, they charge extra for an omelette. Lift broke in the only accessible accomm block and not fixed - friend had to be unceremoniously winched out. Staff would not connect us to a TUI rep in nearby hotel when we had a problem with a Tui booked excursion. Complained to Tui and they didn’t care or compensate. Was there for a big birthday. Couldn’t have felt less special.

The good- 😁 Excellent location for beach, pier, shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely restaurant with fantastic view’s, excellent food and a good selection for both breakfast and evening meal (half board) -waitresses Irene and Patricia were especially good. The hotel and our room were kept very clean throughout our stay. Good to have a free room safe but too small for iPads or Kindles. Also good to have a kettle in the room but the cups are tiny! The bad-☹️ No regard for half board customers arriving too late for evening meal- restaurant closed so went to bed hungry! No welcome drink on arrival. The bottle of water in the mini bar should be complimentary at least on the first night as it’s not advised to drink the tap water or use for brushing teeth. Finally-charging guests €4 each per day for sun beds! A common complaint which seems to fall on deaf ears. Overall- We wanted to support the local economy and book a local family run hotel, but feel that the Rui hotels ( which we have used before) provide better value for money and value your custom more, so would choose that option next time.
