Forte Village Resort - Il Borgo

The discrepancy between what the resort promised, the cost to be incurred and what was actually offered to me is enormous, obviously negative. I don't judge the catering part, perhaps negatively conditioned by the current event, but the poor management of room service is too much. Upon arrival I waited a while to get into the room as they were about to finalize the cleaning. Well, as soon as I enter the room I notice the presence of dozens and dozens of dead insects (in the photo). It can happen (even if I waited to take possession of the room just for the cleaning) but the most serious thing is the reaction times since the "let's send someone immediately" turned into the resolution of the problem after more than 4 hours and in any case even after the intervention, insects remained in the less visible areas for which the staff did not pay due attention. On a second day another problem arises (electricity): after having contacted the switchboard in vain (they didn't answer, which is already not pleasant) I went to the reception to receive support with the obvious answer "we'll send someone right away". The word immediately at the Forte evidently has a different meaning given that they arrived in the room after 90 minutes in which I used the light on my smartphone (then the problem was really trivial but anyhow). Another aspect that many of us noticed was the lack of preparation of the staff both in the reception and in the restaurant. The feeling is that they were inexperienced young people. In short, the structure will also be large and beautiful (but not exactly well-kept) but I do not recommend it for a huge and above all unjustified cost. Another example of neglect: the sofa had a torn cover and the cleaning of the room in the morning led to the disappearance of all the necessaire for the shower which was replaced only with the shampoo with which in the end I had to take a shower... In short, a lot of imprecision, no request for feedback for a disappointing experience to be good

Of "Leading hotel of the world", there is very little.....inadequate and uneducated staff (alas almost all interns little more than novice adults, or now annoyed boarders). Hostel quality of food, and unavailability of sunbeds because they were occupied from the day before or from the morning with only a towel. In short, of the much praised Forte, there is very little ... I dare say a "Weak Village" ... indeed very weak, from all points of view. The only excellence is the Spa and the countless possibilities to play sports, with multiple disciplines, from karting to bowling….

We stayed for three days in this renowned structure. Super helpful staff, delicious restaurants and well-kept pools. The miniclub for children is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and close to everything. Super recommended!

Our holidays in August at FORTE VILLAGE are a tradition. At BORGO, the same room, our dear Raimondo Cabua, director of the hotel: very efficient and always ready to satisfy the requests of all guests of the resort. Getting together every year is like coming home. Beautiful sea, good cuisine, excellent services. Everything you want in a vacation. Here are all of them and much more. Thank you so much .

Resort with attention to every detail, beautiful beach and sea, friendly and helpful staff, wide choice of restaurants, the only big drawback is the cleaning of the rooms, or rather the delay in cleaning, i.e. late in the afternoon
