Palladium Hotel Palmyra - Adults Only

The hotel is okayish but the staff is excellent. Shout out to Joaquin and Javier!!

Honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I had originally booked a king bed room and upon check in they told me they had “upgraded me” for free to a bungalow room. I specifically didn’t want this type of room because although it is bigger, it’s right next to the pool and the loud speakers. The room was super loud. Music blaring from the speakers at all hours and no privacy. When we were in the room, we found 2 lizards in the room that we had to trap with cups and also the AC did not work well at all, the air would not blow out of the vent strongly and they only had 1 AC vent on the upper level of a 2 floor room so it was hard for us to sleep. Also, the food is super bad. Yes, it’s all inclusive but we didn’t eat at the hotel after the first night as the food was bland, undercooked, and tasteless. The breakfast was not much better. There were also lots of creepy older guys hanging around the lobby who were staring and catcalling my friends and I. The worst thing about this hotel is what happened with the parking. I parked my rental car in front of the hotel when we checked in so we could unload our bags. After unloading everything, I was told at check in to park the car in the one lane next to the hotel on the side. This parking lane was super narrow, one way and you can only access it if you pull forward immediately when entering the hotel. I was going to exit the hotel completely, go to the roundabout nearby turn around and then enter the hotel again so I could pull straight back in to the parking lane. As I was at the exit driving away. The lady from reception runs out and tells me to back my car up and enter the parking lane even though it is a narrow one way lane. I told her no, that’s not possible because it’s one lane, super narrow and the other side of the lane was a brick wall. This lady spoke no English and I speak Spanish at a conversational level but I do not know how to communicate more complicated things. She continued yelling at me and demanding that I back into the narrow parking lane which makes no sense as it was super tight and any logical driver would just exit and enter the parking lot again so they could easily pull forward into the lane and park. She started yelling so I backed into the spot and she also demanded I park in between two large vans even though there were 3 free parking spots right next to it. She kept telling me to back it in and I kept screaming “no es posible, es demasiado difícil”. Due to her unreasonable demand that I back into a Specific spot, I ended up scraping the front and back of my rental car which I ended up having to pay €450 euros to repair. I yelled at this lady because it is completely her fault. Never had this kind of experience at a hotel where they don’t allow you to exit the hotel, turn around and drive in the correct direction into a parking lane. Will never ever stay here again and I urge others to not stay here. I travel a lot and this is the worst hotel experience I ever had.

We were a group of 3 female friends in our 40's seeking sun, relaxation and dancing. The hotel was perfectly situated so we had amazing sea views and sunsets. Ocean Beach was just a couple of minutes walk away and Cafe Mambo a good walking distance. Staff were super helpful and friendly and Vincent and Virginia went over and above to make our holiday memorable. The restaurant provided a great selection of hot food each day and never felt 'samey' like many All Inclusives. My food allergy was well catered for and I felt reassured about choices with help of kitchen staff each time I visited the restaurant. Rooms and poolside could do with a little modernisation, but cleanliness was superb. Poolside entertainment was great. The daily aquasize was fab and the poolside background music was perfect. We were treated to a DJ set one afternoon which was a great bonus but our highlight has to be the saxophonist who had everyone up and dancing around the pool, creating one of our best holiday memories! We will definitely be returning next year!

My Brother and I have been here six times since 2005. One of the finest hotels for the area. Very loyal friendly and attentive staff in all departments. However my feeling is that other hotels in the area are catching up fast due to greater investment ie Abratt and Tanit now renamed TRS Ibiza. and Blau Park. I have enclosed picture of the hotel swimming pool which although very nice is in need of a modern upgrade ( wooden planks rather tired). The other issue was full English breakfast being Luke warm due to cold plates and hob not hot enough to keep food hot. Variety of food excellent at breakfast and dinner. This hotel still one of the finest options but fully inclusive doesn’t come cheap

Fantastic central hotel right on the beach. Loved looking out onto the sea from the outdoor restaurant and pool area. Food is fab. All staff from the reception to the all bar staff are so friendly. They really helped make are holiday. A special mention to bar manager Arturo Garcia who remembered our drinks order every day and came to the table as soon as we sat down. The poolside entertainment was a great touch. We will definitely be back
